While most skins in the store require you to pay for them with Riot Points, there are ways that allow players to get a select few skins absolutely free. Follow the steps below to find out how.

Method 1 of 3: Liking the League of Legends Official Page on Facebook
Step 1. Create a Facebook profile if you don't already have one
Step 2. Look for the official League of Legends page on Facebook
This can be found by searching for "League of Legends" into your Facebook search field and selecting the page that has the verified checkmark.
Step 3. Click "Free Riot Girl Tristana"
This will take you to an app that will allow you to unlock the Riot Girl Tristana skin in your League of Legends account.
If you don't have Tristana as a champion, you will also get Tristana and her skin
Step 4. Select the region you used to register your League of Legends account in the app
Step 5. Like the official League of Legends page on Facebook via the app
If you have liked the page then you will be taken to the next step automatically.
Step 6. Get the code for the skin
You also have the possibility to share the news to your friends that you have got this skin through various social media platforms.
Step 7. Get the code
First, you have to login to League of Legends using the client. Next, go to the shop and select the code. Now you can enter the code that has been given to you into the black rectangular box. Once you click submit, the new skin (and the winner if you don't have Tristana) will be applied to your account.
Each skin code can only be used and will only run if you have selected the correct server region for your account. If you're constantly having trouble, it's best to contact the League of Legends customer support team
Method 2 of 3: Subscribe to League of Legends Official Channel on YouTube
Step 1. Create a YouTube account if you don't already have one
Step 2. Access the official League of Legends website using your internet browser
Step 3. Adjust the server to correlate with the server used on your League of Legends account and type " /youtube " at the end of the url
This will direct you to an app on the League of Legends website that links your YouTube account with your League of Legends account.
Step 4. Click "Login" button and enter your account information and correct captcha code
Step 5. Click "Subscribe" to have League of Legends link your YouTube account
Step 6. Let League of Legends access your YouTube account so you can subscribe to its channel
If you are already subscribed to the channel, the process will not change.
Step 7. Enjoy your new Unchained Alistair skin
If you don't have Alistair as a champion, you will also get him along with his skin.

Step 1. Create a Twitter account if you don't already have one
Step 2. Access an app that allows you to get skin codes for free for Garen's champion and Garen's Dreadknight skins
This app can be searched here for EUW/EUNE accounts and here for other server regions.
Step 3. Click "Get Garen and his Dreadknight skin" to open the Twitter app which allows you to receive codes by following the official League of Legends account on Twitter
Step 4. Allow the Twitter app to proceed to the next step and receive the skin code
Keep in mind that the skin code can only be used once and will only work if you have selected the correct link according to your respective server region
