This wikiHow teaches you how to earn LINE Points on your Android device. LINE Points can be earned by adding an official account as a friend, playing games, or following Tapjoy activities. LINE Points (formerly LINE Free Coins) can be used to purchase stickers, themes, and other features on the LINE app. This guide is intended for the LINE app with English settings.

Method 1 of 3: Adding an Official Account as a Friend
Step 1. Open the LINE app
The app has a green icon with a speech bubble that says “LINE”. This app can be found on the home screen or menu.
Step 2. Touch the menu button
It's in the top-right corner of the screen, just below the gear icon.
Step 3. Touch the LINE Points button
It's in the top center of the screen. Your point count will appear in the blue bar at the top of the screen.
Step 4. Touch the Earn button
It's in the top-left corner of the screen. This button will show you several ways you can get LINE Points for free.
The first section, “Official Accounts,” displays a list of official accounts you can add to earn free points. The number of points you will earn is displayed next to “P”
Step 5. Select an account under “Official Accounts”
The first account you can add to earn free points is LINE Points. After pressing the button, you will be redirected to the “Add” page of this account.
Step 6. Touch the Add as Friend button
It's a dark blue button at the bottom of the screen. After pressing this button, a pop-up window will appear.
Step 7. Touch the Add button on the pop-up window
This button has a human silhouette icon with a “+” symbol and is in the lower-left corner of the window. Once the button is pressed, the account will be added to your LINE friends list.
Step 8. Touch the green Get Points button
This button is under “Add as Friend”. Points from the official account will be added to your account.
Tap the “x” in the upper-right corner of the confirmation screen to close it
Method 2 of 3: Playing the Game
Step 1. Open the LINE app on the Android device
The app has a green icon with a speech bubble that says “LINE”. This app can be found on the home screen or menu.
Step 2. Touch the LINE GAME button
It's in the row of icons at the top of the screen. It's a green button with a game controller icon inside.
Step 3. Tap the game under “LINE Points”
The number of points you will get from the game is shown next to the green and white “p”.
Generally, you have to reach a certain level to get free points. These conditions are displayed next to or below the number of points you will earn
Step 4. Follow the guide to start playing
After completing the game conditions, you will get free points.
Method 3 of 3: Using Tapjoy to Complete Activities
Step 1. Open the LINE app on the Android device
The app has a green icon with a speech bubble that says “LINE”. This app can be found on the home screen or menu.
Tapjoy is a service that you can use to earn free points by completing activities outside the LINE app. Some activities to complete may require you to buy something. However, some activities only require you to complete a survey or sign up for a certain email service
Step 2. Touch the menu button
It's in the top-right corner, just below the gear icon.
Step 3. Touch LINE Points
It's in the top center of the screen. Your point count will appear in the blue bar at the top of the screen.
Step 4. Touch Earn
It's in the top-left corner of the screen. This button will show you some of the ways you can earn free points.
Step 5. Tap on Tapjoy which is under “Other Missions
This button is the second option in the Earn menu. A notification will appear explaining the terms and conditions for using Tapjoy.
Step 6. Read the notification then touch Agree
This button will list activities that can be completed to earn free points.
You only need to agree to this notification once. After that, you can simply touch “Tapjoy” to access the activities that can be completed
Step 7. Select an activity
There are various activities you can complete to earn free points, such as signing up for an email service, completing surveys, downloading apps, entering competitions, buying things, etc. Touch the activity to read the applicable rules and find out how many points you will receive.
Step 8. Touch Earn (amount) LINE Points
This button is at the bottom of the screen. After touching this button, you will be redirected to the activity that needs to be completed.
Step 9. Follow the on-screen guide to earn points
The guide to earning points will be different for each activity. After all conditions are completed, the points from the activity will be credited to your LINE account.
