Step
Method 1 of 5: Baked Banana Chips
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 80-95 degrees Celsius
The low oven temperature allows a dehydrating effect to occur in the oven. Also prepare the grill mat.
Step 2. Peel the bananas
Once peeled, slice into thin strips. Make sure they are all the same thickness, so they cook the same.
Step 3. Place the banana slices on the grill mat
Place them one at a time and don't stack or touch each other.
Step 4. Squeeze the lemon onto the banana slices
This will prevent the bananas from blackening and add a bit of a nice aroma.
Step 5. Put it in the oven
Bake for an hour or an hour 45 minutes. After an hour, check to see if you feel the doneness is just right. If not, enter it again and wait again.
Baking time depends on how thick or thin the banana slices are
Step 6. Remove from oven
Leave it to cool. When freshly removed, the banana chips will look mushy, but will harden once cooled.
Method 2 of 5: Fried Banana Chips
Step 1. Peel the bananas
After peeling, put it in a container of cold water.
Step 2. Slice the bananas to the same thickness, then put them back in the bowl of water
After all the bananas are cut, put the turmeric powder in a bowl.
Step 3. Leave it for 10 minutes
After that, strain the water and place the slices on paper towels that will absorb the moisture.
Step 4. Heat the oil
After the oil is hot, add a few slices of banana with the amount according to the size of the pan and the oil you are using. Then drain.
Step 5. Repeat until all the banana slices are fried

Allow it to dry slightly to remove moisture.
Step 4. Heat the oil
Place the banana slices in the hot oil and fry for about two minutes until they are golden brown. Then drain.
Step 5. Drain until the oil is gone and place on paper towels
Step 6. Make the sugar syrup
Place two tablespoons of sugar, water and cinnamon in a saucepan. Cook on low heat until the sugar dissolves and thickens like syrup. Then turn off the stove.
Step 7. Put the banana chips in the sugar syrup
Mix well.
Step 8. Remove the banana chips and arrange them on a cooling rack covered with paper, then cool

Bananas are ready to be removed when they are caramelized and dry.
Step 5. Cool
Step 6. Serve or save
To store, place in an airtight bag or jar. Banana chips can be stored for up to a year.
Tips
- Banana chips can be stored for a long time in an airtight jar, but don't overcook, as they taste better freshly cooked than after months of storage.
- You can make cold water by putting ice cubes in a container of water. Use a cast-iron container or pan to increase the chilling.
