Step 1. Remove the grape stalks

Put all the wine in a colander and wash it in warm water until all the chemicals are gone.

Step 3. Mash the grapes

Use a potato masher until the water starts to come out.

  • An alternative to potato mashing is to use a blender in pulse mode. But make sure not to blend it into mush.

Place the crushed grapes in a saucepan and cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes.
