Do you want to make a hair tie in the color of your own choice? Here's how.
Step
Method 1 of 2: Using an Elastic Hairband

Step 1. Buy an elastic hair band

Step 2. Measure the circumference of the circle

Step 3. Cut 3-4 pieces of fabric into rectangles 7.5-12.5 cm wide and the same length as the circumference of the unstretched hair band

Step 4. With the right sides together, sew the short ends together to make a long loop

Step 5. Fold the loop over the hair band with the other sides together and the right side facing out

Step 6. Pierce the long, unstitched side with a pin

Step 7. Using a sewing machine with a seam edge, make a round seam at the section to hide the crooked edge of the fabric
Note: this step can be done by hand, or by folding the top edge into a cm round hem using your hands, then embroider

Step 8. Put on a new hair tie in the color of your choice
Method 2 of 2: Using a Piece of Fabric

Step 1. Take a piece of cloth the same size as the first step

Step 2. Fold it lengthwise, right side in and sew the edges

Step 3. This part is a bit tricky:
Turn the fabric over to the right outside by pushing the fabric inward.

Step 4. Take a piece of elastic along the desired length of the hair tie

Step 5. Thread a safety pin over the elastic and push it into the hair tie
Make sure that the bottom of the elastic remains at the beginning of the seam.

Step 6. Sew the two ends of the elastic and the fabric together
