Video: Advice From JESUS On How To Live In The Last Days 2024, April
Anonim

God promises happiness for a specific reason (the word "blessed" in the original Bible text translates to "blessed"). This state of happiness/blessing corresponds to 9 verses " Happy Sayings" which is written in the Gospel of Matthew (in the New Testament Scriptures) based on the words of Jesus to the 12 apostles, hundreds of disciples, and the crowds who listened to His sermons.

Jesus no says that the first 7 blessings are given only to His followers or people of certain nations. All who love God and neighbor deserve this blessing, but the happiness that Jesus promised in the eighth blessing is given only to those who are persecuted for proclaiming the Word of Jesus. The nine "Blessings" begin with the word "be happy". Jesus promises happiness for those who to live in truth, that is, people who behave properly. Behavior is determined by paradigm. The "Blessings" reveal that God gives abundant blessings to those who behave righteously according to His words in the Scriptures.

According to the Word of Jesus, you will be happy as stated in the passage "The Sermon on the Mount" if behave properly as described in this article. Jesus will give gift of spirit and gift of faith to show His love and presence so that you can live a physical and spiritual life within Spirit. Unity with God will open the doors of heaven so that divine energy will pour out in abundance for you…

Step

Be Blessed (Christianity) Step 1
Be Blessed (Christianity) Step 1

Step 1. Be a humble person according to the Word of Jesus:

"Blessed are the poor in the sight of God, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:3). Understand the meaning of this verse and the following eight verses because according to the teachings of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew 5, this step is a way to experience true happiness.

  • According to the promise of Jesus, the person who poor in front of Allah can experience the Kingdom of God while still on earth! Jesus said that "the kingdom of God is among you" because "the Spirit of God dwells in you". This means, living daily in the presence of God is an absolute requirement to experience true happiness. Jesus said, "I will go to my Father"… [and] "will give you another Helper that He may be with you forever".
  • The phrase "poor before God" means not putting one's own interests first and pursuing the pleasures of life. Even though you were taught from a young age to work hard in order to live a sufficient life so that you can achieve success and independence that you should be proud of, still be a humble person. You deserve to live happily because you are blessed if you always "surrender to God's will". Don't let your life focus solely on yourself by ignoring God, living life as you please, and making decisions as you please.
  • One way to be humble is to admit that you are weak before God. Thus, God will bless you by working in your life and bringing you into His presence, which is the Kingdom of Heaven.

Step 2. Repent by admitting mistakes, accepting the consequences, and improving yourself

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." (Matthew 5:4).

  • In the passage on the "Blessings," Jesus commended those who grieve and repent because this can free others from grief and help you recognize your weaknesses. So, you deserve to be happy if you grieve because you realize your mistake and be humble according to the first verse of "Blessings". Make sure you always rely on God and are not arrogant.
  • Daily activities do not bring joy like true happiness because of faith, hope, and God's love. Disappointing life experiences due to unfulfilled desires may make you think: "I wish I had/became _" (complete this sentence) so that peace, joy, and hope are lost from your life. This condition can trigger a sense of "desperation". You will suffer if you live life like this.
  • If you've ever done something bad to someone else, show remorse for a sin you've committed because you've defied or neglected God and so don't deserve a blessing. However, you can get rid of selfishness and selfish habits by forgiving other people's mistakes.
  • This step makes you worthy to receive the forgiveness of sins from God. God's grace frees you from sin. Thus, your life is blessed and you realize that God really exists.

Step 3. Don't be selfish with bad thoughts

" Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

(Matthew 5:5).

  • The word "meek" in the third verse of the "Blessings" may provoke negative thoughts. People who are "gentle" are often perceived as weak, giving up easily, or giving up hope. Not true!

"Meekness" is a trait of strong people, but they no never used violence. They are able to deal with problems patiently without blaming others or God. You can behave like this if you always rely on Jesus in your daily life.

  • Jesus introduced himself by saying: "I am gentle and lowly in heart". He is able to overcome conflict, humiliation, and suffering without being selfish because "He endures all things."
  • Jesus said that the meek will have earth. This means, you will receive the gift that is given freely to become a resident of God's Kingdom. The recipient of this gift is the heir who becomes the owner and custodian of all the material and natural resources that God provides if you live your life in union with Jesus Christ according to God's will. Humans were created to rule the earth and everything in it.
  • The Holy Spirit will surround you with peace and direct your every step so that it is worthy in God's eyes, which is a happy and meaningful life with Jesus because you obey God's commandments. Remember that Allah does not reject what is good, but what is good not necessarily right (eg behavior that is not in accordance with God's Word).

Step 4. Learn how to live in the truth so that you become a good person

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied." (Matthew 5:6).

  • Many people consider themselves holy. Who has ever heard someone say, "I really want to be a bad, stupid person"? Mistakes made out of anger or revenge will be embarrassing if they are known by the public.
  • Do wise actions for your own good because this makes life more enjoyable. The Apostle Paul once experienced a dilemma so that he wrote: "For what I do, I do not know. Because it is not what I want that I do, but what I hate, that is what I do."
  • Guilt and conscience make the soul feel "hungry and thirsty" for correct decisions and behaviors as when you say, "I need food and drink right now!" Therefore, be a person who prioritizes the truth above all else so that you appear as a person who always lives in the truth.
  • Truth is food and drink to maintain spiritual health so that you are free from guilt, shame, and sin because Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit so His people live in righteousness.

Step 5. Be generous

"Blessed are the merciful, for they will find mercy." (Matthew 5:7).

  • When you pray, you can simply say, "Thank you, Lord", "Have mercy on me, Lord…", "Good God the Father…", or "Lord Jesus…". Be a generous person so that God will grant your request. God said: "I am generous" and "I will be generous to whom I want to be generous" (merciful).
  • Crimes against fellow human beings have continued throughout history. Through historical stories, it is revealed that the oppression by selfish, petty, and cruel people that causes poverty, slavery, riots, is not overcome by kindness and generosity, but by indifference and cruelty.
  • Jesus said that the kindness you give to others makes you worthy of God's goodness. The more kindness you give, the more kindness you receive. This means, your goodness is beneficial to yourself according to the words of Jesus: "For what a man sows, he will also reap".

Step 6. Be a saint by having faith in Jesus

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." (Matthew 5:8).

  • Would the audience be entertained when radio stations, TV, or talk show organizers discussed the holy and simple way of life? Holiness can be achieved by focusing thoughts and actions to live righteously according to God's will and commandments. This must start from yourself according to the words of Jesus: "O hypocrites, first remove the beam from your eye and you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye". (Matthew 7:5). The verse reminds us not to judge others like hypocrites.
  • The good God will bless you with spiritual things so that you can "see" God because your thoughts, words, and actions are not polluted by bad things.
  • "Take care" purity of thought and action in all things because Allah wants you to be free from the desire to think and do impure things. God cleanses you inwardly.
  • "Seeing" God which means knowing Him as Father (dwelling in His presence) is a blessing that Jesus promised in the "Blessings".

Step 7. Be a very blessed peacemaker

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God." (Matthew 5:9).

  • Peace is a pleasant thing if the conditions are according to your understanding, but for followers of Jesus, the implementation does not end here. Being a peacemaker must start from each other's homes by loving one's life partner, children, parents, and the whole household in order to create a life of peace and love for one another in Jesus. Do not repay evil with evil according to the words of Jesus, "… also turn to him your left cheek". This means, you must do what Jesus said and forgive others.
  • Love others unconditionally and treat others as you would like to be treated yourself. Imagine if you and the person you were against swapped positions. Therefore, "Love your enemies". Don't overreact. Get rid of the desire for revenge now! If you can't end the enmity, God will enable you. Making peace with other people can be done through small things, for example by giving a new pencil, a bag of chips, or an apple to the person you are in conflict with.
  • God's blessings never run out. So, share God's blessings with others. God is always with you, guiding your steps, helping you overcome difficulties ("Bless and not curse!") according to His will, and provide protection as you "walk in the valley of darkness". God always bless you morel and materially.
  • Heavenly Father is able to give what is "longing" for your soul/heart (sincere feelings from the bottom of the heart) and fulfill all that you "need" with His grace according to your belief in Him. Making peace with others is a way of experiencing God's presence in peace and harmony while living daily life.

Step 8. Accept the fact that you are being mistreated

"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:10).

  • Hearing the word "persecution" for standing up for the truth is terrifying, but don't worry! You will be happy because you have the Kingdom of Heaven if you are persecuted because you have repented and are living according to the Word of Jesus.
  • You will be a different person if you become a follower of Jesus. This makes people who do not understand the basics of everyday life, namely spiritual life, feel threatened. You always put God first so that your mindset is considered "extreme" by those who reject it. You do have to be extreme enough in order to live happily in this world and the hereafter.
Be Blessed (Christianity) Step 9
Be Blessed (Christianity) Step 9

Step 9. Prepare to experience persecution (because you are dedicated to Jesus Christ)

"Blessed are you, if because of me you are reproached and persecuted and all evil is slandered against you." (Matthew 5:11). It is possible that you are criticized (scorned) for acknowledging that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Instead of avoiding persecution, this message expresses a blessing to be received. There are so many blessings that you will receive compared to the bad consequences… namely great joy and joy

Be Blessed (Christianity) Step 10

Step 10. "Rejoice and be merry:

for your reward is great in heaven, for in the same way the prophets who were before you persecuted” (Matthew 5:12).

  • Jesus said that you deserve to rejoice because you are able to endure even though others cause problems and difficulties because you believe in Jesus Christ and live according to His Word.
  • Even though you are experiencing difficulties and have weaknesses, rejoice because Jesus gave you strength (as another blessing) and a great reward in heaven.

Tips

  • Don't think that other people don't care about you. Reconsider your opinion with an objective perspective. You will meet people who support each other if you are able to love others, instead of living in hostility.
  • Jesus promises happiness to you and all those who live life as son of God. You will feel calm if you rely on God even if you have to kneel before Him because He always gives the best according to His will…
  • If you truly obey God's Word, He will give you what is rightfully yours, which is to enjoy eternal happiness in heaven when you close your eyes. God has prepared a very special blessing; a blessing as elusive and immeasurable as the blessing given to the prophets. What does this message mean? If you live a life of righteousness, this is what the prophets did… They prophesied by proclaiming the truth and preaching the good news of God's plan without prioritizing group or self-interest.
  • Apart from physical, material, and security health, God's blessings are not limited to "worldly" things. According to the Scriptures, God gives you the ability to meet material needs, even beyond what you expect and dream of by blessing your loved ones and all aspects of your life: romance, marriage, and your descendants for generations. God's blessing is amazing!
  • In the Bible, nothing in the Word of Jesus states that religious activities (inside and outside the church community) make you worthy of God's goodness. Jesus said that every action has a consequence. What you do to others, such as doing good to friends and bullies makes you worthy of God's gift. Thus, the good you do is beneficial to yourself because it brings happiness and blessings from God.
  • If someone asks, "Did Jesus come to this world to bring suffering?" No… Jesus is here among us to open the doors of heaven and save mankind so that we can live a life full of joy. Living with Jesus frees us from eternal death.
  • Jesus said, " When I was lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to come to Me…”. This means, Jesus is ready to welcome you into the Kingdom of Heaven… However, you will lose everything and will suffer greatly if you refuse to live according to the Word of Jesus!

Warning

  • You will become a supporter and follower of Jesus once you know Him and understand what He did for you. However, those who reject Jesus will shun you for being a follower of Jesus!
  • Remember that Jesus and His teachings can get you into trouble! As a follower of Jesus, be prepared to be nicknamed fanatic and was severely denounced, ridiculed, despised, belittled, humiliated, and criticized by those who rejected Jesus. They think faith is irrational, but for you, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom…
  • Some people will think you are behaving strangely if you really rely on and serve Jesus. This happens because they don't know Jesus, but sometimes, they call His name when they need help (while working, studying, or doing daily activities). Those who reject Jesus will stay away from you. They don't want to praise, glorify, and worship Jesus because they don't accept Him as their personal Savior, but you acknowledge that Jesus is the God of the worlds.
