This wikiHow teaches you how to download Bollywood movies to your smartphone or computer. If you want to download free Indian movies from your computer, you can use YouTube or uTorrent. You can also buy Indian movies on iPhone or Android via iTunes Store or Play Store. Keep in mind that downloading paid movies for free is illegal in many places.

Method 1 of 4: Using YouTube
Step 1. Visit the Bollywood YouTube page
This channel contains several different categories of Indian films. All of them are available for free to download, of course with the help of online conversion services.
Step 2. Scroll down and click on Popular Videos
It's in the middle of the page. After that, the “Popular Videos” group of videos containing full-length movies on the channel will be opened.
Step 3. Browse the available movie options
Go through the list of available movies until you find the movie you want to watch, or use the search bar to search for a specific movie by name.
Step 4. Select a movie
Click the movie you want to play. After that, the movie will be opened in the playlist view.
Step 5. Edit the movie address to remove the " Playlist " marker
You can't download movies as long as the address still has the " Playlist " tag on it. To remove it, look for the movie's address at the top of your browser window, then delete the &plist text and any other text that follows it.
For example, "https://www.youtube.com/embed/12345&plist=12345" should be edited to "https://www.youtube.com/embed/12345"
Step 6. Copy the movie address
Select the rest of the edited addresses, then press Ctrl+C (Windows) or Command+C (Mac) to copy them.
Step 7. Open the Convert2MP3 website
Visit https://convert2mp3.net/en/ via a web browser. This website can convert normally protected YouTube videos to MP4 files which you can later download to your computer.
Step 8. Enter the address of the movie
Click the " Insert video link " text field, then press Ctrl+V (Windows) or Command+V (Mac) to paste the address.
Step 9. Choose MP4 format
Click the box mp3 ” which is on the right side of the text field, then click “ mp4 ” in the displayed drop-down menu. You can see another box displayed below the video address.
Step 10. Choose a quality
Click the " MP4 quality " drop-down box, then select the desired video quality (eg. 1080p"). You cannot choose a quality higher than the highest quality of the original video.
Step 11. Click convert
It's an orange button to the right of the video's address text field.
Step 12. Click Download
Once the video has finished converting, this green button will be displayed. Click the button to download the MP4 movie file to your computer.
Step 13. Play the movie
Once the movie is downloaded, double-click the file to play it in your computer's main video player program.
Method 2 of 4: Using uTorrent
Step 1. Install uTorrent if the program is not already installed on the computer
This program allows you to download torrents, linked files and can download files online (in this case, movies). uTorrent can be downloaded and used for free.
Keep in mind that downloading a free version of a paid movie that you don't own/buy is clearly illegal
Step 2. Open a search engine
Google or Bing are popular search engine options. Since you need to find a free, downloadable version of a movie, use a search engine to find the movie you want on as many sites as possible.
Step 3. Enter the movie title
Type in the title of the movie you want to download, followed by the phrase torrent download, then press Enter.
For example, you can search for movies with the search keyword terror 2017 torrent download
Step 4. Select the movie you want to download
Click the link that contains the information you are looking for. Usually, a movie torrent link contains the title of the movie, the language of the dialogue or subtitles, and the quality of the movie.
Step 5. Determine if the found torrent file is safe to download
There are several ways you can check file security:
- Read the comments. If most of the comments posted by other users are positive, torrent files are usually safe to download.
- Check the rating or score. A high score indicates the file is safe, while a low score indicates that the file is corrupt or unsafe.
- Pay attention to the ratio of "seeds" and "leeches". " Seeds " are the users who uploaded the file you want to download, while " leeches " are the users who downloaded the file. If there is no seeder, you cannot download the torrent. Try to find another file that has more “seeders” than the number of “leechers”.
Step 6. Locate and click the “Download” button
The location and appearance of the button will differ from site to site. Therefore, look for the button “ Download ” at the bottom of the file or the down arrow at the top of the file. You can also click the button labeled “ Get Torrent ' or something like that.
You may be redirected to advertisements several times before the torrent file is actually downloaded to your computer. If you are directed to an advertisement window, close the window and click the "Download" button again
Step 7. Wait for the torrent file to finish downloading
Generally, this file will only take a few seconds to finish downloading.
Step 8. Open uTorrent
This app icon looks like the “µ” logo on a light green background.
Step 9. Click File
It's in the top-left corner of the uTorrent window (Windows) or the top-left corner of the screen (Mac). After that, a drop-down menu will be displayed.
Step 10. Click Add Torrent…
This option is in the drop-down menu. After that, a new window will open.
Step 11. Select the downloaded torrent file
Click the downloaded torrent to select it. You may first need to click on the location where the torrent file is stored (eg " Downloads " folder) on the left side of the file browsing window.
On Windows computers, you can swipe up or down the left side of the browse window to find the appropriate folder
Step 12. Click Open
It's in the lower-right corner of the window. After that, the torrent file will be opened in the uTorrent program.
Step 13. Select the location to save the movie
Click the button " … ” which is to the right of the " Save In " section in the upper-left corner of the window. After that, click on the folder that you want to set as the location to save the movie (eg “ Desktop ”).
Step 14. Click Select Folder
It's in the lower-right corner of the window.
Step 15. Click OK
It's at the bottom of the window. After that, the movie will be downloaded.
Step 16. Wait for the movie to finish downloading
The download process can take a few minutes to several hours, depending on the number of seeders, internet connection, and file size.
Step 17. Play the movie
Double-click the downloaded movie file in its storage folder to play the movie in the video player program.
If the movie doesn't play on your computer, you can convert the movie file to an MP4 file. Usually, you don't need to change the file extension (and the movie can play right away) if you use the VLC Media Player program as a video player
Method 3 of 4: Using iTunes Store
Step 1. Open the iTunes Store app
This app icon looks like a white star on a pink background.
Step 2. Touch Search
It's a magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3. Touch the search bar
This bar is at the top of the screen.
Step 4. Find the desired movie
Type in the title of the movie, then touch the “ Search ” on the device keyboard.
You can also type hindi or bollywood in that field if you are not looking for a specific movie
Step 5. Touch the Movies tab
This tab is at the top of the screen.
If you don't see the tab, touch the tab “ More, then select " Movies ” in the displayed menu.
Step 6. Select a movie
Touch the movie you want to buy. After that, the movie information page will open.
Step 7. Touch the BUY button
It's in the top-right corner of the page.
You can also touch the “ RENT ” to rent movies if you don't want to buy them.
Step 8. Enter Touch ID
Press your finger on the device's Touch ID sensor when prompted. After that, the film will be purchased.
If you don't use Touch ID, enter your Apple ID password when prompted. You may need to touch the " Buy ” after entering the password.
Step 9. Wait for the movie to finish downloading
After that, you can watch it via the TV app that comes pre-installed on all iPhones and iPads running iOS 10 or higher:
- Open " TV ”.
- Touch " Library ”.
- Select the movie you want to watch.
Method 4 of 4: Using Google Play Store
Step 1. Open
Google Play Store.
Tap the Google Play Store app icon, which looks like a colorful triangle.
Step 2. Touch the button
It's in the top-left corner of the screen. After that, a pop-out menu will be displayed.
Step 3. Touch Movies & TV
It's at the top of the pop-out menu.
Step 4. Touch the search bar
This bar is at the top of the screen.
Step 5. Find the desired movie
Type in the title of the movie, then touch the “ Search ” or Enter on the keyboard. After that, the Google Play Store will search for the movie you want.
If there is no particular movie you want to download, type in hindi or bollywood to get a general list of Indian movies
Step 6. Select the desired movie
Touch the movie you want to download. After that, the movie information page will be displayed.
Step 7. Touch the BUY button
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 8. Select a quality option
Touch SD ” (standard definition) or “ HD ” (high definition or high definition) when prompted. Some movies may not have HD quality options.
Step 9. Touch BUY when prompted
After that, the movie will be purchased and downloaded to your account.
If you haven't set up payment details for Google Play, you'll be asked to set up your payment information first
Step 10. Open the Google Play Movies & TV app
This app icon looks like a roll of film on a red background.
If this app is not available on your device, you can download it for free from the Google Play Store
Step 11. Open your library
Tap the “☰” icon in the upper-left corner of the screen, then select “ Library ” in the displayed menu. When it's finished downloading, the movie will be shown on this page.
Step 12. Watch the downloaded movie
Touch a movie to open it. Now, you can watch Indian movies through your Android device.
