Liking something on Facebook is a great way to show support for your favorite shows, products, and issues, but it can certainly get to the bottom of your timeline. If you're drowning in the list of updates and want to simplify your life on Facebook, you can unlike pages that are out of date. Follow this guide to find out how.

Method 1 of 2: UnLiking Certain Pages
Step 1. Go to the page you want to unlike
You can click on a page in your timeline, or you can search for it in the Facebook search box.
Step 2. Click the "Like" button at the top of the page you see, next to the page name
If you scroll through the page, this button still appears at the top.
Step 3. Click Unlike
Facebook will ask for confirmation if you want to unlike the page. Once you unlike a page, you won't see updates from that page in the timeline.
Method 2 of 2: Using Activity Log
Step 1. Open the Activity Log
Your Activity Log is the easiest way to see all the pages you like in one place. Click the Privacy icon next to the cog icon at the top of your Facebook page.
- Click "See More Settings".
- Click the “Use Activity Log” link under “Who can see my stuff?”
- You can also access the Activity Log by going to your profile and clicking the Activity Log button.
Step 2. Click the Likes option on the left
This menu will open and give you two options: “Pages and Interests” and “Posts and Comments”. Click the “Pages and Interests” option.
If this option does not appear when you click the "Likes" button, refresh the page in your browser
Step 3. Browse to the page you want to un-like
In the mainframe, you'll see a chronological list of all the pages you've liked. Swipe to see the entire page.
Step 4. Click the pencil icon to the right of the entry that you want to deselect
Click Unlike from the menu that appears. Facebook will ask to confirm if you want to unlike the page. Once a page is unliked, you will no longer receive updates from that page in your timeline.
