This wikiHow teaches you how to add friends (or remove them) from your close friends list on Facebook.

Method 1 of 2: Adding Friends
Step 1. Open Facebook
This application is marked by a blue icon with a white "F" which is usually displayed on the device's home screen.
If you are not logged into your account, type in your account information and tap “ Login " ("Enter").
Step 2. Touch
It's in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Step 3. Scroll to the screen and tap Friends ("Friends")
Step 4. Select the friends you want to add to your “Close Friends” or “Close Friends” list
The corresponding user profile will be opened.
Step 5. Touch Friends (“Friends”)
This button is below the user's name on their profile page.
Step 6. Touch Edit Friend Lists (“Edit Friend List”)
Step 7. Select Close Friends
A blue tick will appear next to the list name.
Step 8. Touch Done
Now, the selected friend is already a member of your close friends list.
Method 2 of 2: Removing Friends
Step 1. Open Facebook
This application is marked by a blue icon with a white "F" which is usually displayed on the device's home screen.
If you are not logged into your account, type in your account information and tap “ Login " ("Enter").
Step 2. Touch the search field (“Search”)
This column is at the top of the screen.
Step 3. Type in close friends and touch the search button
This button is the magnifying glass icon displayed on the device keyboard.
Step 4. Select Close Friends
This option is the first choice in the search results. Make sure you select this option, and not “close friends list” or something like that.
Step 5. Select the friend you want to remove from the list
The user's profile page will be opened after that.
Step 6. Touch Friends (“Friends”)
This button is below the user's name on their profile page.
Step 7. Touch Edit Friend Lists (“Edit Friend List”)
If the user is a member of your close friends list, you'll see a blue tick next to the list name.
Step 8. Touch Close Friends
The blue tick will be removed from the list name.
Step 9. Touch Done
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen. Now you have successfully removed it from the account's close friends list.
