This wikiHow teaches you how to quickly find feedback/comments from friends uploaded to Facebook posts that have a lot of comments. You can also learn how to use Stalk Scan to see the responses your friends have uploaded to photos on Facebook.

Method 1 of 2: Finding Friends Comments on Posts
Step 1. Go to https://www.facebook.com via a web browser
If you access Facebook on a computer, you can see notifications in the ticker window (activity feed shown on the right side of the screen). Usually, notifications about comments uploaded by friends will be displayed in the window. Use this method to find your friends' responses to posts that have a lot of comments, even when those comments are "drowned" by other comments.
Step 2. Right-click the notification about your friend's comment
This notification is the text in the ticker window containing the message “(your friend) commented on (another user)'s post” (“(your friend) commented on (another user)’s post”).
Step 3. Click Open Link in New Tab or Open Link in New Window
After that, the post (and all the comments) will be displayed so you can see the comments sent by your friends. If there are a lot of comments on a post, you may need to scroll down until you find the comment your friend posted.
- You may only see the link “(name of friend) replied” (“(name of friend) reply”) which indicates that the friend in question only replied to one comment, not leaving a separate comment. Click the link to see the comments/responses he sent.
- If a post contains too many comments to search, press Ctrl+F (Windows) or Cmd+F (MacOS) to open the search field, and type in your friend's name. Use the navigation arrows next to the search field to scroll through the search results and find comments posted by your friends.
Method 2 of 2: Finding Friends Comments on Photo Posts
Step 1. Go to https://www.facebook.com via a web browser
As long as you have access to a web browser (either through a computer or a mobile device), you can easily view all the photos your friends have commented on.
This method cannot be used if you are using the Facebook mobile app
Step 2. Visit your friend's profile
There are many ways that can be used to enter a friend's profile page:
- Click or tap the search field or button at the top of the page, and type in the friend's name. When his name appears in search results, select it to open his profile.
- On your own profile page, click or tap the “ Friends ” (“Friends”), then select the corresponding name.
Step 3. Copy the link to your friend's profile page

Mobile device:
Touch and hold the URL at the top of the screen, then select “ Copy ”.

Computer:
Mark all the URLs at the top of the screen, then press Ctrl+C (Windows) or Cmd+C (MacOS).
Step 4. Visit https://www.stalkscan.com via a web browser
StalkScan is a free tool that gives you quick access to information about your friends' activity on Facebook.
StalkScan only allows you to view comments on photos that you can view, such as public photos or those uploaded by mutual friends
Step 5. Paste the friend's profile URL in the field provided

Mobile device:
Touch and hold the column, then touch “ Paste ” when the selection is displayed.

Computer:
Click the column until the cursor appears, then press the key combination Ctrl+V (Windows) or Cmd+V (MacOS).
Step 6. Click or tap the search icon
It's a magnifying glass icon to the right of the search field.
Step 7. Click or touch the Pictures button which is under the “Comments” section
You may need to swipe the screen to see it. After that, a list of photos commented on by your friends will be displayed.
Step 8. Click or touch the photo to view the comments
Now, comments uploaded by your friends will be visible.
Tips
- StalkScan was previously able to display all comments uploaded by your friends on Facebook (not just comments on photos). However, it is no longer available due to changes to Facebook's search graph.
- StalkScan will never display information that can only be seen by the user in question (“Only Me” or “Only Me”).
