This can happen to all of us. We try to visit a gaming site at work or at school, it turns out that the site is blocked in your browser. Bypass this blocking with the easy steps below.

Step 1. Open Internet Explorer
Step 2. From the menu at the top, select "Tools"
Step 3. Select "Internet Options" from the drop-down list
Step 4. Click the "Security" tab
Step 5. Click "Restricted Sites"
Step 6. Locate the site you want to unblock
Step 7. Highlight the site and click "Remove"
Step 8. Note:
This method will not work if the "Internet Options" button is locked.
Tips
- If you're using a computer in a location that provides DNS, IT admins can filter and log whatever they want. This arrangement is usually applied to companies (and governments).
- This method does not work if the site is blocked from the router or gateway making the connection.
- An administrator or savvy parent will use a password to prevent others from making the changes described in this article.
- Browser-based blocking is just one of many ways to restrict access to certain sites or content.
Warning
- Just because you can gain access to a blocked site doesn't mean you are safe. If admins block and log internet activity, they can log every bit and byte you send and receive and then penalize you for circumventing their poor security.
- Attempts to remove restrictions and access to blocked sites can be noted. Some school systems view this as vandalism and you could be suspended, expelled or arrested for your actions.
- Administrators can block access to the "Security" tab.
