Method 1 of 2: Increasing Download Limit
Step 1. Open the uTorrent app
This app has a green icon with a white “u” letter. This app is on the homepage or menu.
Step 2. Touch
It's in the upper-left corner of the screen when uTorrent is open. This button will display a menu containing various options.
Step 3. Select Settings on the menu
Step 4. Touch Download Limit
This option is used to change the download speed of uTorrent.
Step 5. Slide the download limit as per your wish
If you want uTorrent's download speed to be as fast as possible, swipe right until a dialog box appears that says “Max KB/s.”
Step 6. Touch Set when done
By doing this, the set download speed will be the new limit when downloading torrents on Android.
Method 2 of 2: Changing the Entrance Gate
Step 1. Open the uTorrent app
This app has a green icon with a white “u” letter. This app is on the homepage or menu.
If the download speed is too slow, changing the gateway to an uncommon one might increase the speed
Step 2. Touch
It's in the upper-left corner of the screen when uTorrent is open. This button will display a menu containing various options.
Step 3. Select Settings on the menu
Step 4. Scroll down and select Incoming Port
This button will display a list of uTorrent information access gateways. This gate is generally set to 6881.
Step 5. Increase the entry gate code by 1
After selecting the option Incoming Port, a new window containing the gate number will appear. Rewrite the entry gate code to 6882.
Step 6. Touch OK
This option will complete the uTorrent login gateway setup and increase the download speed.
