As long as both parties agree, the buyer and seller can cancel the order on eBay. Buyers can request cancellation within (maximum) one hour after the transaction as long as the goods have not been sent by the seller. Meanwhile, sellers can also cancel transactions within a maximum period of 30 days, but risk getting negative feedback due to cancellations that take too long. Auctioneers may also withdraw their bids in certain circumstances.

- You typed the wrong amount due to a typo (eg 100 dollars instead of 10 dollars).
- Product descriptions change drastically since you made an offer.
- Seller cannot be contacted.
- You can't withdraw an offer just because you change your mind.
Step 2. Check the remaining auction time
The remaining auction duration determines your likelihood of withdrawing your bid as long as you meet one of the following reasons:
- Above 12 hours – you can withdraw the offer. All offers made will be cancelled.
- Less than 12 hours – You may only withdraw offers made within the last hour. eBay will only cancel your most recent offer.
