When you want to get in touch with a long-lost friend or potential client, the process can be very difficult if you don't know the person's email address. Luckily, there are a number of ways you can track down the email address you want. If you know a little bit about the person, chances are you can find their email address on social networks. You can also try guessing the email address based on other addresses within the same company.

Part 1 of 4: Using Tools
Step 1. Use Find That Email
This is an email search tool with high accuracy. The algorithm will scan 20 different data sets to accurately locate a person's email address. This tool also provides a feature called " Domain Search " which shows everyone, job titles, and email addresses of anyone in the domain.
Part 2 of 4: Searching for Emails on Websites and Social Networks
Step 1. Visit the desired person's company website or personal website
You can get emails from the person you are looking for through the company's website. The opportunity is very large if the person has his own company. Check the " About ", " Contact " and " Staff " pages to see if you can find the email there.
If the site is run by the person you're looking for, visit whois.net and enter the person's site address. The email of the person you are looking for may be listed on the contact information page
Step 2. Use Google to search for the person's name, location, and company
You can get a lot of information if you do a proper Google search. If the person has a unique name, you may be able to find the name by doing an internet search.
Include a modifier, such as " email ", " email address ", " contact ", " contact information ", or " contact me"
Step 3. Search for the person's name on Twitter
If you find it on Twitter, chances are you can find the email address in the person's profile. At least you already have a way that can be used to contact the person.
Do a Google search with the keywords "person's name + twitter" to find that person's Twitter account easily
Step 4. Search for the person's profile on LinkedIn
Another good place to find someone's email address is LinkedIn, although this will depend on the person's privacy settings there.
Search for "person's name + linkedin" to quickly get to that person's LinkedIn profile (if he or she has one). If he has a common name, include the company name as well
Step 5. Also check Facebook and Google+
Through this site, you can contact the person directly because you usually have to befriend them first in order to see their contact information. This method might be worth a try because there is a chance you can communicate with him through these sites.

Part 3 of 4: Making Good Guesses
Step 1. Find someone else's email address in that person's company
If you can find some of the public email addresses of the company the person works for, chances are you can find the email address for their work.
- Look for sales email addresses, technical support addresses, and other publicly available email addresses for people at the company.
- Check the company's LinkedIn page and see if any of the employee's email addresses are publicly accessible.
- Look for press releases whenever possible. Here, you can often find the email address of a company representative.
Step 2. Check the found email addresses for patterns
If you're looking for an "official" address, such as a school or work email address, the username will usually contain the person's first, last, and possibly middle name. Most companies give their employees email addresses in a common pattern. Check the email address you found and see if you can find the email address you're looking for based on the information listed there.
For example, if the email you find is in the format [email protected], try entering the person's name using this format
Step 3. Do an internet search based on the email you guessed
This is to see if the email address does exist before you test it. You can find links to their social networks, which can tell you that you have the correct email address.
Step 4. Try a few different structures
You could try some of the more common corporate email structures, which can be used if the person shares a name with someone in their company, or they're allowed to choose their own username:

Part 4 of 4: Using an Email Address Guess Service
Step 1. Visit an email address guesser site
There are many email address guessing services on the internet. One service that is easy to use and free is
Step 2. Enter the person's first and last name, as well as the possible domain name
An e-mail guesser will generate an e-mail address based on this information. If you don't know the domain name to use, try using the person's company domain first (@company.com). If that doesn't work, try using a well-known domain like @gmail.com or @icloud.com.

Step 3. Click the "Create Email" button
Your e-mail client will open and the BCC (blind carbon copy) line will contain all the e-mail addresses that have been generated on the e-mail guesser site. With BCC, you can send the same email to all email addresses, but each recipient of the message won't know that you're also emailing others.
Step 4. Write a private email
Make sure you create clear and friendly messages so you don't come across as spammers. You really shouldn't have these email addresses. So you must create a polite message so as not to be ignored.
Step 5. Send the message and wait
Your message will be sent to all addresses that have been generated on the e-mail guesser site. Wait for your email to get a reply. Most messages will probably return to the email client with the words " undeliverable " (not sent), but it's possible that one of the emails could be delivered.
Warning
- While there are important reasons why you should look up someone's email address, you also need to know when to stop. For example, if you're trying to find the email address of an interesting acquaintance, a classmate, or someone you met at a cafe, you don't need to do an intensive search. If the email address isn't publicly available, or you can't keep it from spreading to mutual friends, you could be viewed as a stalker, which could end up getting you into trouble.
