This wikiHow teaches you how to find Telegram channels on your iPhone or iPad using the Telegram bot or the Telegram channel directory website. There is no official list or way that Telegram provides to search for channels. All bots and websites that display Telegram channel lists are third-party directories and are not affiliated with Telegram.

Method 1 of 3: Using Channel Bots
Step 1. Open Telegram
The app is marked by a light blue icon with a white paper airplane in the center. Usually this icon is displayed on the home screen.
Sign in with your phone number if you can't access your account automatically
Step 2. Touch the search bar at the top of the window
Step 3. Type tchannelsbot into the bar
Search results will be filtered as you type an entry.
Step 4. Tap on “Telegram Channels Bot” option
If the search keyword is typed correctly, that option will be the top search result. This option is a channel with the username "@tchannelsbot" under its title.
Step 5. Touch Start
It's at the bottom of the screen.
If the option is not available, type /start into the message bar below, then press the blue send arrow button above the keyboard
Step 6. Touch options
You can touch any of the buttons displayed, such as:
- ” Top Chart ”: displays the most popular channels.
- ” recent ”: displays a list of recently created channels.
- ” By Category ”: shows all channel categories.
- ” Search ”: allows you to search for channels manually.
Step 7. Open the channel
Find the channel you want to follow, then touch the link for that channel.
Step 8. Touch Join
It's at the bottom of the channel. You are now a member of the channel.
Method 2 of 3: Using Channel Directory Website
Step 1. Open a web browser
Run Safari, Google Chrome, or any other desired browser on your phone.
Step 2. Visit the Telegram channel directory site
You can enter "Telegram channel list" or similar keywords on Google, or visit the Telegram channel list site.

Step 3. Find a topic of interest
Many Telegram channel directory sites have categories like games, movies, television shows, and more. Most sites that display a list of channels also have a search bar.
Step 4. Open the channel
Select a channel, then:
- Tap Add to (https://tchannels.me).
- Select + (https://tlgrm.eu/channels).
Step 5. Touch + Join
It's at the bottom of the Telegram channel. You are now a member of the channel in question.
Method 3 of 3: Using Websites to Search Channels
Step 1. Open a web browser
Open the web browser you like the most.
Step 2. Visit a website that allows you to browse channels, groups and open messages on Telegram

Step 3. Type in the keywords of the theme you are interested in
It works the same way as any other search engine. For example, if you want to search Telegram channels and groups related to food, type in " food ", "recipe", "recipe", "breakfast", "dinner", etc.
Step 4. Open the channel
Specify the channel you like then touch its name. The channel will automatically open in the Telegram app on the phone.
Step 5. Touch + Join
This button is at the bottom of the screen. After that, you will become a member of the channel.
