The WhatsApp messaging app allows you to communicate with other WhatsApp users via voice and video calls, as well as text messages. This wikiHow teaches you how to record activity on your screen when you make a video call from WhatsApp.

Part 1 of 2: Enabling the Screen Recorder Feature on iOS
Step 1. Touch the settings icon or “Settings”
The “Settings” page will load after that.

Step 2. Touch Control Center
Step 3. Touch Customize Controls
Step 4. Touch the icon
beside Screen Recording.
You may need to scroll through the “Customize Controls” menu to see all the options. After that, the “Screen Recording” icon (
) will be added to the “Control Center” page.
Part 2 of 2: Record WhatsApp Video Calls
Step 1. Press the “Home” button
This physical button is at the bottom of the device screen. Once pressed, you will return to the device's home screen.
Step 2. Touch the WhatsApp icon to open the app
The WhatsApp icon looks like a white phone in a white circle on a green background.
If you can't find the WhatsApp icon, swipe right from the home screen and type "WhatsApp" into the search bar at the top of the screen. Tap the WhatsApp icon once it appears in the search results
Step 3. Touch Calls
The “Calls” icon looks like a phone and is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4. Tap on the “New Call” icon on the top right corner of the screen
This icon looks like a phone with a plus or plus sign next to it.
Step 5. Touch the video camera icon next to the contact you want to call
WhatsApp will establish a video connection with the contact.
Step 6. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen
The “Control Center” page or window will load. You can see the icon
on that window.
On some iOS devices, you may need to swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to display the “Control Center” page or window
Step 7. Touch and hold the icon
Step 8. Touch the microphone icon at the bottom of the screen
The microphone will be turned on so that the screen recorder feature can capture audio and video.
Step 9. Touch Start Recording
After three seconds, the “Screen Recording” feature will record all your activities on the screen.
A red band will be displayed at the top of the screen while recording is in progress
Step 10. Touch the red tape when ready to end the recording
iPhone will ask you to confirm stopping recording.
