Step 1. Run Adobe InDesign
Step 2. Open the InDesign document you want to work with
You can do this by selecting File and clicking Open from the Control Panel at the top of the workspace. If you don't already have an InDesign document, create a new one by clicking File, selecting New, and then clicking Document. Next, make settings on the new document.
Step 3. Click File, then select Place in the InDesign Control Panel
Find the image file that you want to import, then double-click the file name.
Step 4. Drag and drop the image to the desired position, then click the mouse (mouse)
Step 5. Adjust the image size if necessary
You can do this by selecting the image using the Select tool and clicking on one of the handles (small squares) in the frame. Drag the handles while continuing to hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys (or Command+Shift on a Mac). By holding Shift, you can adjust the size of the image proportionally. If you want to crop the image to a specific part, hold down the Ctrl key while dragging the handle. You can also enter exact values for the height and width of the image in the Height and Weight columns in Control Panel.
Step 6. Repeat the above steps for all the images you want to add

- Images used for printing purposes must have a resolution of 300 ppi. Resolution refers to the amount of detail in an image expressed in pixels per inch. Image resolution can be adjusted using image editing software.
- You can specify import options when adding a specific type of image, such as EPS, BMP, or PNG. By specifying the import options, you can define the transparency and color profile of the image.
- You can use Adobe InDesign to import a variety of image formats, such as EPS, JPEG, TIFF, and BMP.
- If you want to replace an image with a new one, select the image, click File, select Place, and locate the image you want to import. Click the file name, then click Replace Selected Item.
