This wikiHow teaches you how to hold a message at the top of a Telegram chat group on an Android phone or tablet.
Step
Step 1. Open Telegram
This app is marked by a white paper airplane icon on a blue background. You can usually find this icon on the home screen or page/app drawer.
The only groups that support message holding are supergroups (supergroups). If you haven't already turned a chat group into a supergroup, do so first
Step 2. Touch the group with the message you want to hold
If you haven't used the group in a long time, you may need to scroll through the screen to find the message you want.
Step 3. Touch the message you want to hold
A pop-up message will be displayed after that.
Step 4. Select Pins
A confirmation message will be displayed.
Step 5. Decide if you want to notify members of the on hold message
If you want to send notifications about messages on hold to each member, check the box next to the “Notify all members” option. If not, remove the check from the box.
Step 6. Select OK
The selected message will be moved and held at the top of the group chat window.
