This wikiHow teaches you how to delete messages sent in Discord chats on an Android device. Deleted messages can no longer be seen by contacts.

Step 1. Open the Discord app on the device
The Discord icon looks like a blue circle with a white game pad inside.
If you don't automatically sign in to your Discord account on your device, first enter your email address or account username and password
Step 2. Touch the three horizontal lines icon
It's in the top-left corner of the screen. The navigation menu will open afterwards.
You can also swipe the left side of the screen to the right to open the menu
Step 3. Look for the heading " DIRECT MESSAGES"
It's in the top-right corner of the navigation menu. This segment displays all private and group chats.
Step 4. Touch the chat on the " DIRECT MESSAGES " section
The chat will be displayed in full screen.
Step 5. Touch and hold the message you sent
A pop-up menu with several options will be displayed.
If you want to search for old messages, use the search feature. To use it, tap the magnifying glass icon at the top of the chat window
Step 6. Touch Delete on the pop-up menu
It's next to the trash icon at the bottom of the screen. The message will be deleted and no longer displayed for other users.
