This wikiHow teaches you how to enable read reports on Samsung Galaxy SMS in English. A read report will show that your message has been read by a recipient using the same SMS app and using the read report feature.

Step 1. Open the "Messages" app
This app is usually located on the home screen.
Step 2. Touch the button
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen. The menu will open.
Step 3. Touch the Settings button
This button is below the menu.
Step 4. Touch the More Settings button
It's near the bottom of the menu.
Step 5. Touch the Text messages button
It's at the top of the menu.
Step 6. Slide “Delivery reports” to the on position
This is done to ensure that you will receive delivery reports for each message sent.
Step 7. Touch the back button
This button will take you back to the menu.
Step 8. Touch the Multimedia messages button
This button is the second option on the menu.
Step 9. Slide “Delivery reports” to the on position
Step 10. Slide the “Read reports” button to the on position
As long as the recipient has this feature enabled, you will receive a read report when the message has been read by the recipient.
