This wikiHow teaches you how to share pictures from your computer to a Discord message or chat channel. You can upload images via the desktop Discord app or the web program.
Step
Step 1. Open Discord
If you are using a Windows computer, you can find the application icon in the Windows menu. On Mac computers, you can find it in the “Applications” folder of the Finder window.
If you don't have the Discord app yet, you can download it from https://discord.com/download. You can also use web-based programs by accessing https://discord.com/app through a web browser and log into the account.
Step 2. Open the server
Server options are displayed based on their initials or icons on the left pane. Click the server with the chat thread you want to send the image to.
Step 3. Open the chat
You can upload photos to text channels or private chat threads with other users. Follow one of the following options to open a chat.

Text channel:
Click one of the channels shown under the " Text Channels " menu, on the left of the screen. Text channels are indicated by a hashtag icon (#) next to them.

Private message:
To send a private message to another user, search for the user in the chat thread or the user list on the right pane. Right click the username and select “ Message ”.
Step 4. Click the plus sign icon
This icon looks like a plus sign inside a circle. You can see it on the left side of the message bar, at the bottom of the screen. A file browsing window will appear and you can browse files on your computer afterwards.
Step 5. Locate the file you want to upload
There need to access the folder that created the image you want to upload. Use the file browsing window to open the folder containing the desired image. Click the folder to open it.
Step 6. Select the image file and click Open
Once clicked, the file will be tagged. After that, select Open ” in the lower right corner of the window to upload the file.
Step 7. Type in a comment (optional)
If you'd like to add a comment to the post, type it into the field labeled "Add a comment". You can type something about the photo or other description.
Step 8. Click Upload
It's a purple button in the lower-right corner of the upload window, in the middle of the screen. The image will be uploaded to Discord and displayed on a private message thread or chat channel.
