Are you unhappy that other people have branded you, abandoned you, or let you down? Be steadfast - you don't have to be sad because of what other people did or said. With persistence, you can develop the ability to be happy that will help you stay happy despite whatever hardships in life come your way.
Step
Step 1. Realize that a lot of the people who make a fuss about you are jealous or feel inferior
What kind of person would even bother trying to pry into every little flaw, just to make you feel bad? Don't let that get you down. Don't reply. Just smile, take a calming breath, and walk away.
Step 2. Think about the idea of karma
Whatever it does, it will come back. Someone may be mean to you, but those bad feelings will find their way back to them. Keep your karma in good shape by being kind to others!
Step 3. Write
Then write more. Write down any negative feelings or worries on a piece of paper, then tear it up and throw it away. You will feel relieved, as if you really have thrown your worries in the trash.
Step 4. Stamp is for losers
Go for a walk with everyone. Try not to label anyone or any group. It's not long before you realize that stamps are simply giving a preconceived opinion about someone…not telling you anything about who they really are.
Step 5. Take care of yourself
Eat and drink what is best for your body. Drink lots of water and stay away from soda. Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, and get enough sleep. Shower regularly and be proud of yourself.
Step 6. Your relationship is one of the keys to happiness
- Consider which relationships are healthy and contribute to happiness.
- Ask yourself if there is anything you can do to strengthen your relationship.
-
Decide if any of your relationships are not working for you and what steps you should take to address this.
Tips
- Enjoy alone time. Do things that make you happy in your free time. If you like being alone, the other possibilities are the same.
- Be careful about how you talk to yourself. Remind yourself that you are an extraordinary person.
