Google's Gmail service allows its users to search for contacts directly from the account page. You can find contact information by logging into the website or mobile app version of your Gmail account on your Android device.

Method 1 of 3: Using the Website
Step 1. Sign in to your Gmail account at
Step 2. Click “Gmail” at the top left corner of the session page and select “Contacts”
After that, a list of all contacts along with additional categories will be displayed in the left sidebar.
Step 3. Type the contact details of the user you want to search for in the search field at the top of the Gmail page
You can enter your username, email address, phone number, email domain or username, or other contact details. Gmail will automatically collect contact results that match your search criteria.
Alternatively, click “Most Contacted” or “Other Contacts” in the left sidebar to view contacts with whom you have recently or previously interacted
Step 4. Click the contact whose details you want to view
The contact page will update and display the contact details available for the selected user or organization.
Method 2 of 3: Using Android Device
Step 1. Open the app page and touch the “Contacts” icon
When you first turn on your device and sign in with your Gmail account, the contacts linked to that Google account will automatically sync to your Android device and appear in the Contacts app.
Step 2. Type the contact details of the user you want to search for in the search field at the top of the screen
You can enter the user's name, phone number, username, email address, or other contact details. The device will automatically collect contact results that match the search criteria.
Alternatively, browse through the contact list displayed on the screen to search for the desired contact
Step 3. Touch the contact whose details you want to review
The device will display the contact details available for the selected user or entry.
Method 3 of 3: Troubleshooting
Step 1. Try enabling “All contacts” option in Contacts app if you can't see all Gmail contacts on Android device
Go to the “Contacts” > “Settings” menu, and select “All contacts” to view all contacts from the phone and email accounts on the device.
Step 2. Make sure your existing contacts are set to sync automatically if you can't find the contacts from your Gmail account on your Android device
Go to “Settings” > “Accounts” > “Google” menu, tap your Gmail account, then check the box next to “Sync Contacts” option. After this, all changes made to Gmail contacts from any computer or device will automatically be synced to your Android device.
