Gligar, a bat-type Pokémon, was introduced in the second generation of Pokémon games and is the 207th Pokémon in the Pokémon series. Gligar has characteristics with a purple body, two pointed ears, and two large claws. Gligar evolves into Gliscor, which was only introduced in Generation IV Pokémon games. Unlike other Pokémon, there's a special way you'll need to evolve Gligar.
Step
Part 1 of 2: Making Gligar Evolved
Step 1. Transfer Gligar to a Generation IV or later Pokémon game (if needed)
Gligar's evolved form, Gliscor, was introduced in Generation IV Pokémon games (Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum), although Gligar was introduced in Generation II Pokémon games. If you're playing Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, or LeafGreen, you'll need to transfer Gligar into a Generation IV game to evolve it.
- You can transfer Pokémon from a Generation III game to a Generation IV game, but you cannot transfer Pokémon from a Generation I or II game to a Generation III game. This means Gligar from Pokémon Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Gold, Silver, or Crystal can not evolved into Gliscor because Gligar cannot be transferred into the version of the game that allows Gligar to evolve.
- In order to move a Pokémon from a Generation III game to a Generation IV game, you must have a National Pokedex in a Generation III game. Insert the game cassette holder into the DS< then select "Migrate" from the main menu of Generation IV games. Select Gligar and the five other Pokémon you want to move in the migration process. In Generation IV play, visit Pal Park on Route 221 to catch a Gligar that has gone through migration.
-
Find Razor Fang. This item is needed to make Gligar evolve into Glicor. Razor Fang can only be found in Generation IV and later games:

Give the Razor Fang to Gligar to keep. Gligar must keep this thing in order to evolve.
Razor Fang can give Flinch status to opponents in battle, so this item becomes quite useful overall
-
Wait until the time in the game reaches night. Gligar can only evolve when its level increases at night in the game. The game Pokémon uses your system clock to determine in-game hours, and the transition to night in each game takes place at a different time.

-
Level up Gligar at night to evolve him into Gliscor. No matter what level Gligar is at, you only need to level up the Gligar that holds the Razor Fang once at night. Gligar will try to evolve as his level increases.
You can level up Gligar by using it to battle wild Pokémon or Pokémon trainers, or you can also use Rare Candy
Part 2 of 2: Getting Razor Fang
Step 1. Get Razor Fang in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and platinum
Take part in the battle inside the Battle Tower after you defeat the Elite Four to earn Battle Points (BP). You can use 48 BP to buy Razor Claw. In Pokémon Platinum, you can buy a Razor Fang in the lower left corner of Route 225, but you'll need the Rock Climb skill to get there. You can also find a Razor Fang hidden in the grass south of Route 214, but this only applies to Pokémon Platinum.
In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, you can only get Razor Fang from Battle Frontier
Step 2. Find Razor Fang in Pokémon Black or White
There are three ways to get a Razor Fang in Pokémon Black or White:
- You can find Razor Claw on Route 13, on top of the cliff to the south of Artist Zach. Route 13 can only be accessed after the main storyline is completed.
- You can find Razor Claw at Abundant Shrine, which is southwest of the location for a Pokémon trainer named Maki.
- You can get Razor Fang from Battle Subway by winning 48 BP.
Step 3. Get Razor Fang in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2
As in Pokémon Black and White, there are three ways to get a Razor Fang in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2:
- Take a Pokémon that has Surf and Waterfall skills, then head to Route 11. You'll find a Razor Fang just to the right of Thalia.
- Get 8 BP in Pokémon World Tournament to get Razor Fang. The Pokémon World Tournament is located in Driftveil. This is probably the easiest way to get Razor Fang in the game.
- You can also get Razor Fang in the Battle Subway as well for paying 8 BP, which is only available later than the Pokémon World Tournament.
Step 4. Win a Razor Fang in Pokémon X or Y
You can't find Razor Fang in the worlds of Pokémon X and Y. You have to win it in the following ways:
- Razor Fang can be exchanged for paying 48 BP in the Battle Maison, which is available after the main storyline is completed.
- You can win Razor Claw by playing Balloon Popping at PokeMileage Club. To play, you have to pay 100 Miles, which can be earned by walking in the game as well as exchanging Pokémon with other players. You need to play Balloon Popping version 3 for a chance to win the Razor Claw.
Step 5. Find Razor Fang in Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby
There are several ways to get Razor Fang in the latest version of the Pokémon game:
- In the Battle Maison in the Battle Resort, Razor Fang can be exchanged for 48 BP.
- Razor Fang is found on almost all Mirage Island, so this is probably the easiest way to get it.
- Like Pokémon X and Y, you can win a Razor Fang from the PokeMileage Club by playing Balloon Popping level 3.
