This wikiHow teaches you how to turn off the screen lock on your Android phone so you don't have to enter your PIN or pattern password to access it.

Step 1. Open Android phone settings

Anyone will be able to access your phone if you leave your phone without a screen lock. Please turn off screen lock if you are aware of the risks
Step 2. Scroll down and tap Screen Lock
You will find this menu in the “Personal” section.
Step 3. Tap Screen lock
This option is usually the first option in the “Phone Security” menu. Enter the PIN or pattern password if any before proceeding to the next menu.
If you can't find this option, scroll down again and tap “None” twice. After this, the screen lock will no longer be active. You will have to enter a password or pattern password if you have one before
Step 4. Tap None
A warning menu will appear. Make sure to read it carefully before turning off the screen lock.
Step 5. Tap Yes, remove
After this, you will not need to enter your password again to unlock the phone.
