This wikiHow teaches you how to receive an invitation link to join a WhatsApp group chat on an Android device.

Step 1. Open the accepted invite link
You can receive the invitation link via text message, email, or private chat message. Group administrators can copy and paste the link anywhere to add new members.
Step 2. Click the link
WhatsApp Messenger will automatically be opened and a pop-up window will be displayed on the screen.
Step 3. Pay attention to the name of the group
The name of the chat group appears at the top of the invite pop-up window. If the group administrator uploaded a group photo, you'll also see it next to the group name, in the upper-left corner of the window.
Step 4. Pay attention to the group builder
If you're not sure who invited you to a group, check the name of the group creator under the group name. The invitation will display the name of the group creator in the " Group created by " at the top of the pop-up window.
Step 5. Check the list of group members
The invitation pop-up window will show all the current group members under the “ Participants In this segment, you may find people you know. The member list may also provide an idea of why you were invited to the group.
Step 6. Touch JOIN GROUP
It's a green button in the lower-right corner of the screen. You will be automatically added to the group chat as a new member. You can directly send messages, pictures, and documents to a group chat.
