In some situations, continuous page reloading can be beneficial, for example when you enter an auction on eBay. You can install a Chrome extension that will automatically reload each browser tab. However, you should be careful because some extensions that offer Chrome reloading or refreshing may contain spyware or malware. This wikiHow teaches you how to use Tab Reloader to set up automatic reloading in Chrome. This highly recommended and safe tool can be used to reload Chrome pages.
Step
Step 1. Do a search on Google with the keyword "Tab Reloader (page auto refresh)"
You can also visit the extension directly by clicking this link. This extension made by tlintspr is highly recommended and non-invasive for reloading Chrome pages.
Tab Reloader lets you set the time for each tab to be reloaded separately. For example, you can set an eBay page tab to reload every 10 seconds, and a YouTube tab every 10 minutes
Step 2. Click Add to Chrome in the top right corner
This will bring up a box verifying that the extension can access the browser history.
Step 3. Click Add Extension
Once the extension is installed, a new page will open. You can close it because the page only shows information about the Tab Reloader extension.
Step 4. Click the circular arrow icon next to the web address field
This is the "Tab Reloader" icon. If there are multiple extensions installed on Chrome, the Tab Reloader icon will be placed in the extension icon group. A menu will be displayed.
Step 5. Set the reload time
You can click the box that says “Days” (days), “Hours” (hours), “Minutes” (minutes), “Seconds” (seconds), and “Variation” (variation) to change the reload time of the tab. This must be done before you activate Tab Reloader.
Step 6. Click the switch to the on position next to "Enable Reloader for this tab"
Doing so will activate the timer and start counting down until it reaches the next reload.
