Did you find a great website that you want to save for later access? Bookmarking allows you to revisit sites you've visited, reducing the number of website addresses you have to remember. You can manage bookmarks in folders or add them to the home screen for faster site access.

Method 1 of 4: Adding Site to Bookmarks List
Step 1. Open the website you want to bookmark in Safari
You can bookmark any website, although sites with secure logins such as banking sites will still require you to log back into your account when the site is reopened.
Step 2. Touch the “Share” button
This button looks like a box with an arrow popping out of the top, and can be found on the right side of the address bar.
Step 3. Touch "Add Bookmark"
After that, the currently open site will be added to the list of bookmarks.
Step 4. Name the bookmark (optional)
Before the bookmark is added, you have the opportunity to edit it. By default, bookmarks have the same name as the title of the web page.
Step 5. Adjust the address (optional)
If you need to adjust the address, you can do so before saving the bookmark. This step is useful if you want to bookmark the main page of a site but are currently on a child page of the site in question.
Step 6. Touch "Location" to change the location where the bookmark is saved
You can add it to the “Favorites” folder, add the bookmark to your regular bookmarks list, or paste it in a specific folder.
Step 7. Touch " Save " to save the bookmark
After that, the bookmark will be added to the specified location.
Method 2 of 4: Managing Safari Bookmarks
Step 1. Touch the “Bookmarks” button on Safari
This button looks like an open book and is displayed on the left side of the address bar. Once the button is touched, the Safari sidebar will open.
Step 2. Touch the “Bookmarks” tab
It is possible that the sidebar does not display bookmarks immediately, but instead displays a reading list (“Reading List”) or “Shared Links”. Touch the smaller bookmark button at the top of the sidebar to open a list of bookmarks.
Step 3. Browse saved bookmarks
All bookmarks will be displayed on this page. If one of them is touched, the bookmarked site will be opened.
Step 4. Touch " Edit " to customize the bookmark management
With this option, you can create new folders, move bookmarks, change the name and address of bookmarks, and delete bookmarks that are no longer needed. Touch “Done” when you are done making changes.
Method 3 of 4: Adding Quick Links to Sites on Home Screen
Step 1. Open the website you want to add to the home screen
If you frequently visit certain sites, you can cut down on the steps required to access them by placing the shortcut directly on the home screen. With this shortcut, you can open a site without having to launch Safari and select a shortcut.
Step 2. Touch the “Share” button
This button looks like a box with an arrow coming out of the top, and is displayed on the right side of the address bar.
Step 3. Touch "Add to Home Screen"
With this option, you can add the currently accessed site to the home screen.
Step 4. Give the shortcut a name (optional)
Before being added, you have the opportunity to edit the shortcut. By default, the shortcut will have the same name as the title of the web page.
Step 5. Adjust the address (optional)
If you need to customize the address, you can do so before saving the shortcut. This step is useful if you want to bookmark the main page but are on a child page of the site.

After that, the shortcut will be directly added to the home screen. If you have multiple home screens, you may need to swipe up to find a shortcut.
Method 4 of 4: Adding Bookmarks on iPad Version of Chrome
Step 1. Open the website you want to bookmark in Chrome
Chrome is one of the most popular alternative browsers for the iPad so you may also want to add bookmarks to it.
If you're signed in to Chrome using your Google account, your bookmarks will sync to all devices that use the same account
Step 2. Touch the star icon on the right side of the address bar
After that, a small pop-up window will appear where you can set your bookmark options.
Step 3. Give the bookmark a name (optional)

You can manage all bookmarks stored in your browser via the Chrome app. Touch the Chrome menu button (☰) and select " Bookmarks ".

- Press and hold the bookmark to edit the name or address.
