Everyone has their favorite Pokémon. However, it's even more fun if you create your own Pokémon by combining animals and various elements in an interesting way. This article will give you some suggestions.
Step
Method 1 of 2: Pokémon Fantasy
Step 1. Choose the name of the animal, object, or plant
You can choose one to be a Pokémon.
Step 2. Select one or two elements
For example, the elements in Pokémon include earth, water, fire, flight, iron, electricity, normal, etc.
Step 3. Apply an effect that reflects the elements on the selected animal, plant, or object
For example, you choose a lion and want to give it the element of fire. You can add flames at the end of the tail, a mane on the neck, or a random strip of fire on the back.
Step 4. Add body parts or foreign colors to your work
This will make your work more like Pokémon. For example, if you are making a water pig, give it a blue color and fins on its back.
Step 5. Give it a name
This is the hardest part. Take a look at the scientific name of your Pokémon's animal and element, for inspiration.
Step 6. Give cool attack moves that relate to your Pokémon's elements and animals
Step 7. Give your Pokémon its evolutionary form
Customize your Pokémon's animal and elemental types.
Method 2 of 2: Fake Pokémon
Step 1. Look for exotic animals, such as hummingbirds, or even goblin sharks or panda ants
(they are all real animals. Try a Google search if you don't believe me).
Step 2. Think of the elements that correspond to the selected animal
For example, in Pokémon X and Y, a Pokémon called Dragalge which is a leafy sea dragon has a Poison/Dragon element. This step is simple, but it will be interesting if you try different combinations of elements.
Step 3. Add new body parts to give the Pokémon its appearance
For example, give it a thicker tail, a change in fur color, a lightning tail, a fire tail, etc.
Step 4. Think of some moves for the Pokémon
You can provide moves that do exist in Pokémon games, or better yet, create your own.
Step 5. Choose a Pokémon name
This is the most difficult part, so try this method: for turtles that have the element of Flying, try searching for words related to the sky, such as clouds. You can search for up to 4 words, and combine 2, 3, or all of them to make a Pokémon name. In this example, combine turtle and cloud to get the name Kurawan.
Step 6. Create an evolutionary version of your Pokémon
Look for other similar animals, or create more powerful versions of your Pokémon. You can also change body features, add elements, or so on to create an evolved version of your Pokémon!
Tips
- Unleash your creativity! Don't just take an existing Pokémon and tweak it a bit.
- You can also create Pokémon by combining one animal with another animal, object, or plant.
- The Pokémon name must have the element/theme of your Pokémon.
Warning
- Don't make too many Pokémon evolutions. Don't make as many Eevee evolutions, unless you're just adding an existing version of Eevee evolution.
- Don't overdo steps 3 and 4.
