Although difficult, obtaining all seven Eevee evolutions was not impossible. This wikiHow teaches you how to evolve Eevee in Pokémon Platinum.

Step

Step 1. Prepare seven Eevees

You need to have eight Eevees if you want one to spare. Catching Eevee in Pokémon Platinum is very difficult, but you can get your first Eevee from Bebe in Hearthome City or in the Trophy Garden on Route 212.

Breeding Eevee is the best option. Be sure to have a female Eevee or one of her evolutionary forms, and another Pokémon in her breeding group. To breed Eevee, enter two Eevee, one male, and one female, in Solaceon Daycare. Wait a while and you'll get a Pokémon egg that will hatch into an Eevee. You also enter Ditto and Eevee (any gender) to get Eevee eggs

You can also get Water Stones on Route 230 if you have the Dowsing App on Pokétch

Step 5. Level up Eevee in Eterna Forest near the mossy rock to get Leafeon

Obtaining Leafeons can take some time so be patient. Also, make sure you are close to the mossy rock; if you go too far, you'll end up getting Espeon or Umbreon.

  • Walk in the grass near the rocks to meet and fight wild Pokémon.
  • You can also use Rare Candy to level up Eevee instead of fighting.

Again, you need to be close enough to the ice cubes to get the evolution right. Obtaining Glaceon also takes time so be patient.

  • Walk in the grass near the ice cubes to meet and fight wild Pokémon.
  • You can also use Rare Candy to level up Eevee instead of fighting.

Step 7. Level up Eevee with high friendship levels between 8PM and 4AM to get Umbreon

Don't level up near ice cubes or moss so you don't get another evolution.

  • You can use the Pokétch app. If a Pokémon has two hearts that appear next to its image, it means its friendship level is maxed out.
  • You can go to Dr. Footstep on Route 213 to see Eevee's friendship level.
  • You can check Eevee's friendship level in Hearthome City, at the Pokémon Fan Club.
