You have to make preparations if you want to survive in school. Knowing the correct way to pack a survival kit (equipment used for survival) will help you through school activities without a hitch. Stay confident and be prepared for all the obstacles that will be faced. Learn to choose and organize the right items into a survival kit you can take with you everywhere.
Step
Part 1 of 2: Choosing the Right Tool
Step 1. Put the spare school supplies in the container
If you lack or lose stationery, it's a good idea to prepare a backup, especially for important items. You can also include some items that you probably won't need every day, but that will come in handy at times. Here is a list of equipment you can bring with you to 'survive' in class:
- Pencils, shavings or spare pencil fills
- Small paperclip/stapler with contents
- pink eraser
- paper clip
- highlighter
- USB/ flash drive
- Sticky paper/ Post-It
- A copy of the lesson schedule
Step 2. Also include first aid items
The school does provide a clinic to treat more serious injuries or illnesses, but if the wound is minor and you want to treat it yourself, bring the following items:
- Plaster
- Ibuprofen or aspirin (ask the parents/nurse at the school clinic if you can take this medicine with you)
- Antacid tablets
- Antibiotic potion
- Tampons or pads
Step 3. It's also a good idea to include some tools to maintain personal hygiene
It is important for you to be clean and confident in order to survive in school. Keep the following items to keep your body clean and fragrant throughout the day:
- Deodorant
- Mouth-fresh gum or chewing gum, if allowed
- Perfume, cologne or body spray
- Facial cleansing tissue or oil paper
- Hand sanitizer or lotion
- Toothbrush or a few toothpicks
- Lip balm
Step 4. Include snacks
Filling your stomach with snacks between classes is a great way to help you get through the day. If you need a little 'push' to get through the day full of vigor, try putting these healthy snacks in a container:
- Granola bar
- Dried small fruits or dried fruit sheets
- Nuts or sunflower seeds
- Chocolate (bring only occasionally)
Step 5. Keep a list of important phone numbers
These numbers may already be in your phone's contact book, but you'll need to keep them on a list so you can use them in an emergency. If your cell phone is lost or dies, make sure you have a copy of the following numbers on a piece of paper:
- Your parents' phone numbers (if your parents have two numbers, and one of them is the phone number they usually use at work, write down the number.)
- Doctor's phone number
- Neighbor's phone number, if your parents are not at home or can't be reached
- Other important numbers
Step 6. Include basic makeup tools too
If you're allowed to wear makeup at school and wear it often, you probably already have a few pieces of makeup that you keep in a small bag or other bag. However, if you still want to carry some spare tools, it's a good idea to put the following items in the container:
- Neutral lip gloss
- Small eye shadow palette
- Eye pencil
- Mascara
- Applicator brush
Step 7. In addition to the items above, also include some additional items
By doing this, you won't have to worry about forgetting to bring the items on the list below. It may seem like an exaggeration, but it will be very useful in an emergency. Consider putting these items in a container:
- Drinking bottles
- Hair ties and hair clips
- Brush or comb
- Spare socks and underwear
- Amount of money in the form of sheets and loose change
- Several batteries
- Backup battery charger for mobile phones
Part 2 of 2: Packing Tools
Step 1. Find a good, portable container
The shape and size of the container depends on the number of items you need. Make sure the container can be stored in a locker or backpack, if you prefer. Some of the objects below you can use:
- Tupperware Container
- Lunch box
- Small fishing tackle box
- A handyman toolbox with several compartments inside
- Pencil case or makeup kit
- Extra backpack
Step 2. Choose items that you will often need at school
There are a lot of things that can be put in a container, but not all of them have to be put in there. Take the items that you think will be needed a lot, and remove the items that will not be used, even at certain times. Don't put highlighter in a container if you haven't used it before. The only person who knows best about your needs and what is best for you is you.
After a few weeks, recheck the contents of the container and sort out the items needed. You no longer need to bring your own stapler if the school administration office has one available
Step 3. Decorate and label the container
It would be nice if the container could be decorated as desired. If you're creative enough, you can put a sticker on the container and mark it with a marker.
- Open Pinterest. Inside there are many creative ideas for organizing items in containers and decorating them.
- It's also funny when the container looks like something else. Instead of regular containers, put the necessary items in a first aid kit, or fishing kit box. No one will know that it is your container.
Step 4. Some items in the container should be replaced regularly
Especially if the item is food or something whose contents run out quickly. Be sure to check your containers and replace them with new ones, to keep the contents fresh.
- Especially when you will be traveling out of town or abroad for a vacation. When vacation time is over, you definitely don't want to see a smelly, messy container with dried or rotten food inside.
- Facial tissue and some types of facial cleansing paper dry quickly and eventually become unusable. Check them regularly, and make sure these items are still wet when needed.
- Make sure the items in the containers (especially bottles and boxes) are tightly closed after each use, so they don't spill when you carry them everywhere, or dry out.
Step 5. Store the container in a locker or bag
When you're done positioning items and decorating them, put the containers in one place where you can easily reach them whenever you need them. Lockers are best, but if the container is small, you can carry it in a backpack or small bag.
