Armitron is a popular watch brand that manufactures many types of analog and digital clocks. While each model is slightly different, most products follow similar instructions for setting the time and date. Armitron digital clocks use buttons to change the time and date, while analog clocks use a rotary crown. When your Armitron clock is fully set, you'll never lose track of time!
Step
Method 1 of 2: Setting the Armitron Digital Clock
Step 1. Hold down the Reset button until the clock beeps
Find the reset button on the top left side of your Armitron watch. Hold this button for 3 seconds or until it beeps. You will see the numbers on the screen flash.
Tips:
Depending on the watch model, the button may say Set instead of Reset.
Step 2. Press the Mode button to change the hour, minute, day, and date
The Mode dial is usually located on the lower right side of Armitron watches. When this button is pressed, the previously flashing part of the screen will change. This way, you can easily change the hours, minutes, days, and dates on the screen. Keep pressing the Mode button until you reach the number/day you want to change.
The part that flashes on the screen is the value to be changed
Step 3. Increase the number by pressing the St/Stp button
Find the St/Stp button on the top right side of your Armitron watch. Whenever you want to change the value, press the button until it reaches the right number. If you want to select the past hour or day, keep pressing the button until it returns to the starting day/time.
- Check if your watch time is in AM or PM format so that the information is accurate.
- On some models, such as the WR330, the St/Stp button may be labeled Adj.
Step 4. Press the Reset button on the top left when it's done
Once you have entered the information correctly, press the Reset button to lock all the information. Check the watch during the next day to make sure the time is correct.
If there is a fourth dial on the watch, it is not for setting the time or date
Method 2 of 2: Changing the Time and Date on an Armitron Analog Watch
Step 1. Pull the crown next to the Armitron watch until it clicks once to set the date
This crown is the dial on the right or left side of the watch face. Pinch the crown with your fingers and pull it until it clicks once. If you hear more than one click, push the crown back in and slowly pull it out.
If the watch doesn't display the date, it means that the crown only needs to be pulled once to set the time. You can skip this step
Step 2. Rotate the crown until the exact date appears in the window
Turn the crown clockwise or counterclockwise, depending on the clock model. Continue playing until the correct date appears in the window on the watch face. If you only need to change the date, adjust it by pushing the crown all the way down.
Try not to adjust the date between 11 PM and 5 AM as it will continue to the next day
Step 3. Drag the crown until it double clicks to adjust the day and time
If you have a clock showing the day/date, drag the crown until it double clicks. If your watch doesn't have that display, simply pull the crown until it can't be pulled back anymore.
Step 4. Turn the crown until the watch displays the correct day
Turn clockwise or counterclockwise depending on the watch model used. Turn the clock hands 2 full rotations on the face to advance the time to 24 hours. Keep turning the crown until you reach the right day.
Do not set the day between 11 PM and 5 AM because the clock will continue to the next day
Step 5. Adjust the time by rotating the crown
Once you have set the day and date, turn the crown until the hour hand points to the correct time. Try to set the hour hand as precisely as possible so that the time displayed is really accurate (maximum 1-2 minutes miss).
The hands won't start turning on their own until you push the crown back in
Tips:
If your watch has a military time dial, make sure the time is correct for the current time.
Step 6. Push the crown all the way through to complete the adjustment
When the time on the clock has been changed, press the crown all the way down so the hands turn on their own again. Check the clock throughout the day to make sure it shows the correct time
