RuneScape has repeatedly encountered problems with multiple accounts and unbalanced trades. For the last few years, trading between two accounts with one owner has been allowed. New players are still given limitations, but there are various ways to outsmart them. Trading is not possible between different versions of RuneScape.
Step
Method 1 of 2: Transferring Items in RuneScape 3
Step 1. Sign in on both accounts
Use one of the following three methods to sign in to two accounts at the same time:
- Use two computers, one computer logged into one account. The most recommended method.
- Use two browsers on the same computer (eg Firefox and Chrome). This method has a risk of failure.
- Ask a friend to sign in with your account. The risk is huge. Even if it's brief, it's actually against the rules and both of your accounts can be blocked.
Step 2. Meet characters and make trades
Make the two avatars meet in one location. When met, right-click on the other character click "Trade." Switch to another computer or browser and click “Accept”. Transfer the desired items.
This trade doesn't have to be two-way. You can transfer from one account to another
Step 3. Know the limits for non-members
Since February 2011, RuneScape allows the transfer of goods between accounts. However, this transfer has its limitations. If your account does not pay for member activation, and the account was created after November 2011, transfers cannot be made for more than 25000 gold at a time.
This limit will only disappear if the membership activation is paid once enough. This limit will not appear again even if the membership expires
Step 4. Skip this limit by increasing the selling price of the item
If you want to transfer a lot of money from an account that has transfer restrictions, sell items from one account, transfer gold with this method and then buy items on a second account. Remember, this method has risks if you are careless or unlucky. Follow these steps:
- Log in to the recipient's gold account.
- Check item eligibility on Grand Exchange. There must be zero of the items for sale. If only a few bargains are on sale, buy them all.
- List an item on the Grand Exchange. Request the price you want to transfer from the other account.
- Log out, then log in to the gold giver account.
- Enter a purchase request for the item at the exact same price. The Exchange will link your two accounts to trade.
- There's a small chance that someone figures out what you're doing and places his own sell order, causing him to get your money. Place your orders quickly to reduce the chance of this happening.
- It's possible that someone else will know your intentions and enter a sell request so that he or she will receive your money. Enter a buy request as soon as possible to prevent this from happening.
Step 5. Avoid using other sneaky methods
Don't try other ways to bypass transfer limitations. Most of these methods have been blocked to prevent fraud. Dropping an item (or gold) or killing the "player" carrying it can destroy the item permanently. This results in the "table" method no longer working.
Outsmarting minigames with multiple accounts is against the rules. As a result, your accounts will be blocked
Method 2 of 2: Transferring Items in Old Runescape
Step 1. Learn the limitations
There are several rules for transferring goods in the 2007 version of RuneScape, as follows:
- Accounts may not give away goods or money for the first 24 hours, or until account membership has been paid for. All items that fall can only be seen by that account. If an avatar is killed, only one of each item in the inventory will drop, including one coin.
- Bots or accounts that use automated programs will be automatically blocked. Transactions with them will result in blocking.
Step 2. Sign in with both accounts
We recommend using two computers, one for each account. It is possible that you use two browsers, but there is a possibility of failure.
You can ask a friend to sign in with your account. Not recommended as this is against the rules and your account could be stolen by a friend
Step 3. Trade as usual
As long as both accounts are over 24 hours old or paid membership, trading is possible. While controlling a character, right click and start trading.
Tips
It is impossible to transfer items from Runescape 3 to old Runescape and vice versa. The two are worlds apart and cannot interact with each other. If you have someone you trust, make a pact with them. Give him an item in one game, and ask him to give him an item in another
Warning
- In addition to the methods prohibited above, this trading method is still within the rules of RuneScape. However, this action will look suspicious. This method can invite misunderstandings and get your character blocked.
- The use of bots (any kind of automation program) violates RuneScape rules. Transferring items from farmer bots can attract the attention of game moderators and result in character blocking.
- Your friends can steal your character. Prevent it by enabling recovery questions and changing your password as soon as possible.
