Is your night scary in Minecraft, because Mobs (short for Monster) are waiting outside? You need a bed if you don't want to go out at night, as this will speed up the morning. Read on to learn how to assemble a bed.

Step 1. Assemble the wooden plank
Go to the Workbench and assemble the Wooden Plank. Take out Wood and place it in any slot. Take out the Wooden Plank
Wood can be found by destroying trees. Trees can be crushed with an ax or hit to get wood
Step 2. Place the wool on the crafting grid
Put 3 Wool in the middle of the grid.
Wool can be found by shearing or killing sheep. Shaving (which won't kill the sheep) requires sheets, which are made by assembling 2 ingots. Sheets also have the potential to produce more wool than kill
Step 3. Place the boards on the crafting grid
Then place 3 Wooden Planks in all the bottom slots.
Step 4. Take the bed from the crafting box
This process will produce a bed. Click on the bed and place the bed in the inventory or hot bar.
Know that there is no way to change the color of the bed. The color of the wool doesn't matter. The only way to change the color of the bed is with a game mod
Step 5. Place the bed wherever you want
Place a bed at home (or a safe place) and sleep peacefully in it. There's an added bonus of creating a new spawn point, which always appears next to the bed when it dies.
Tips
- Make a bed during the day.
- Put the Bed in a safe place.
Warning
- Make sure there are no Mobs near the bed, Mobs won't let you sleep.
- Sleeping on a bed in the Nether would cause the bed to explode.
