Snapchat records your achievements in the app by giving out trophies every time you complete certain tasks. This social media doesn't tell you how to get the trophies, but Snapchat users have figured out how to get as many trophies as possible just by regularly using the app and its features. Part 1 of 2: Learning Trophy Winning Basics
Step 1. Complete tasks on Snapchat to get trophies
The term trophy refers to the emoji added to the trophy cabinet on the profile page. You can earn them by doing certain tasks, and more powerful trophies can be earned by completing tasks that take longer. When you first see the trophy cabinet, most of the trophies are still locked and hidden.
Snapchat trophies are available for personal entertainment only, and have no direct bearing on the functionality of the app itself. Trophies obtained also do not necessarily provide access to additional features or rights, and only you can see the collection of trophies that have been obtained
Step 2. Check the trophies that have been obtained at this time
You can view the trophies you've won on your Snapchat profile page:
- Tap the ghost icon at the top of the Snapchat camera window.
- Touch the “Trophy” button at the top of the profile page.
- Touch a trophy to see its details. If there are several trophies in a set, you can see the lock icon for the trophies that have not been obtained.

Step 1. Increase Snapchat score by sending and receiving uploads or snaps
One of the main trophy categories relies on Snapchat scores. The way or method of tabulation of the actual score is not known, but usually you will get 1 point for each submitted upload, and 1 point for accepted and opened uploads. Sending an upload to multiple people is only equivalent to 1 point. There are several trophies that you can win when you reach a certain score:

- ? – Submit 1,000 selfies. Use the front camera and submit 1,000 photos of your face to win this trophy.
Step 2. Use filters to win trophies
There are several trophies related to Snapchat filters. You can browse the filter options after taking the upload by swiping the screen left or right.
- ? – Submit uploads with any filter.
- - Use two filters on one submitted post. You can combine filters by holding down the screen with one finger, and using the other finger to scroll through the screen.
- ? – Use a black and white filter on 50 submitted uploads. You can access these filters by swiping the screen from right to left four times.
- ️ - Submit an upload with a temperature filter showing temperatures below 32°F / 0°C. You must enable location access for the app if you haven't already. The app will also ask you to enable location when this filter is selected.
- ? – Submit an upload with a temperature filter showing temperatures above 100°F / 38°C.
Step 3. Draw an image on the post to get the trophy
You can earn trophies by drawing posts using 5 or more colors. Touch the pencil button to display the color slider. Search and read articles on wikiHow about how to get hidden colors.
- ? – Submit one upload with 5 or more colors on the created image.
- ? – Submit 10 uploads that have 5 or more colors in the created image.
- ? – Submit 50 uploads that have 5 or more colors in the created image.
Step 4. Submit multiple videos to get multiple trophies
There are a variety of trophies available for video submissions. Press and hold the shutter button on the Snapchat camera window to record a video.
- ? – Submit your first video.
- ? – Submit 50 videos.
- ? – Submit 500 videos.
- ? – Send video without sound. After recording a video, touch the loudspeaker button in the lower left corner of the screen to mute the audio before the video is sent.
- ? – Switch from camera to camera while recording video. While holding down the shutter button, double-tap the screen with another finger to switch from one camera to another.
- ? – Switch from camera to camera 5 times in one video. You need to switch from front camera to rear camera (or vice versa) 5 times in one video to get this trophy.
- ? - Switch from camera to camera 5 times in one video. You need to switch from front camera to rear camera (or vice versa) 10 times in one video to get this trophy. The allowed video length is very limited so make sure you can successfully switch the active camera 10 times in one recording.
Step 5. Earn trophies by modifying posts
There are several trophies that can be obtained by taking advantage of several features when taking and sending uploads.
- ? – Send 10 photo uploads with max magnification. To zoom in before the photo is taken, place two fingers on the screen and spread them apart. The camera view will be enlarged. Pinch the screen to zoom out.
- ? – Send 10 video uploads with zoom. To count, the video doesn't have to be maximized.
- ? – Increase text size on 100 posts. Touch the “T” button after taking a photo/video to add text, and touch the button again to increase the size. Submit 100 uploads with larger text.
- ? – Upload the post at 4-5 am. The recipient doesn't have to open it during that time for you to get the trophy.
- ? – Send 10 uploads using the front flash. This light does not refer to the device's built-in flash. However, Snapchat will brighten the screen with a white color before the post is taken so that your face looks brighter. Use the front camera, then touch the flash button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
- ? – Send 50 uploads in night mode (night mode). If you're in a dark place, a moon button will appear at the top of the Snapchat camera window. With this option, the camera view will be brighter. However, this button is only shown if the target area is dark enough that you need to move to a darker place in order to activate night mode.
Step 6. Verify profile information to get some basic trophies
You can win several trophies by verifying the information on your profile.
- ? – Verify the email address in the settings menu or “Settings”. Touch the ghost button and select the gear icon. Select the “Email” option, enter a valid email address, and touch “Continue” to send a verification message. Follow the link in the email to verify the email.
- - Verify phone number in settings menu. This number serves to protect your account and can be used by other users to find your profile. Select "Mobile Number" in the Snapchat settings menu and enter your phone number. Touch the country at the top of the screen to select a country code. Touch " Verify " to get a short message from Snapchat. Enter the code from the message into the app to verify the number.
Step 7. Take screenshot of Snapchat upload to get the trophy
You can win trophies by taking screenshots of received submissions. Other users will get a notification that you took a screenshot of their post. Make sure he doesn't mind when you take screenshots because some people consider taking screenshots a violation of Snapchat etiquette.

Step 8. Submit the upload to Live Story
If you're at an event powered by the Live Story segment, you can win a trophy by submitting a post covering the event. While retrieving a post, tap the " Add to Story " button at the bottom of the screen. Select “Live Story” for the event you are attending, and the post will be uploaded to that segment.

Step 9. Scan other user's Snapcode
Snapcode is the fastest medium for adding someone to your Snapchat friends list. Sync the Snapcode view with the camera, then press and hold the screen.
