This wikiHow teaches you how to save password entries in Google Chrome on PC and Mac computers. After setting up Chrome to save passwords, you can go to websites and instruct Chrome to save login information. You can also remove a website from the " Never Saved " list and save the password for the site.

Method 1 of 3: Enabling the Password Saving Feature
Step 1. Open Google Chrome

Step 3. Click Settings
This option is at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click Advanced▾
This option is at the bottom of the “Settings” page. Advanced settings will be expanded afterwards.
Step 5. Click Manage Passwords
This option is under the “Passwords and Forms” section.
Step 6. Click the switch at the top of the segment to the on or “ON” position
This switch is at the top of the “Manage Passwords” page and will turn blue when enabled.
Now, whenever you sign in using your unsaved login and password information, Chrome will ask you to save it
Step 7. Turn on the “Auto Sign-in” switch to the on or “ON” position
With this optional setting, Google Chrome will automatically log you in when visiting sites with saved password entries.
If you turn it off, Chrome will ask you to confirm your password every time you visit the website in question
Method 2 of 3: Saving Passwords
Step 1. Open Google Chrome

Step 2. Visit the website with the password you want to save
Access the website with the password you want to save and log in to the account using your username, phone number, email address and password. A pop-up window will appear asking if you want to save the typed password.
Step 3. Click Save
Chrome will store your passwords and login information securely.
Click " never ” to add websites to the "Never Saved" list (sites with login information that will never be saved).
Method 3 of 3: Removing Sites from "Never Saved" List
Step 1. Open Google Chrome

Step 6. Scroll the page to the "Never Saved" section
This list contains websites with passwords that the browser should not save or remember.
Step 7. Click the X to delete the site
After that, the website will be removed from the list so Chrome can save and remember the password for the site.
