This wikiHow teaches you how to create a poll on a Facebook group, both mobile and desktop. If you want to upload a vote on your Facebook profile, you need to use the “Polls” or “Polls” application. Also, you can't upload your vote on your Facebook page.
Step
Method 1 of 2: For Desktop Version
Step 1. Open Facebook
Visit After that, a news feed page will be displayed if you are already logged in to your account.
If you're not logged into your account, type your email address (or phone number) and password in the top-right corner of the page
Step 2. Click Groups (“Groups”)
This tab is on the left side of the page, in the options column.

If you don't see the option Groups ” (“Group”) here, click the button
Android7dropdown in the upper right corner of the page, then select “ Manage Groups ” (“Manage Group”) in the drop-down menu.
Step 3. Click the Groups tab (“Groups”)
It's in the top-left corner of the page.
Step 4. Select a group
Click the name of the group you want to send the upload to.
You can only upload posts in groups you're already a member of
Step 5. Click Create Poll (“Poll”)
This option is below the post box, below the cover photo. After that, a new poll upload will be created.
Step 6. Enter a voting question
Click the text box at the top of the poll window, then type in the question you want.
Step 7. Enter the answer or poll options
Click the button + Add an option… ” (“Add an option…”) below the question, and type an answer/option. Repeat this process for each answer you want to give.
Each time you click on the column “ + Add an option… ” (“Add option…”), a new answer column will be displayed below the currently used column.
Step 8. Edit poll options
Choose Poll Options ” (“Poll Options”) in the bottom left corner of the post, then uncheck the “ Allow anyone to add options ” (“Allow anyone to add options”) or “ Allow people to choose multiple options ” (“Allow people to select multiple options”) if necessary.
Skip this step if you are satisfied with the existing poll settings
Step 9. Click Post (“Submit”)
It's in the lower-right corner of the poll window. After that, the poll will be uploaded to the group page. Group members can choose one (or more) answers to the questions you ask.
Method 2 of 2: For Mobile Version
Step 1. Open Facebook
The Facebook app icon looks like a white “f” on a dark blue background. Facebook will display a news feed page if you are logged in to your account.
If you're not logged into your account, type in your email address (or phone number) and password, then tap “ Log in " ("Enter").
Step 2. Touch the button
It's in the lower-right corner of the screen (iPhone) or in the upper-right corner of the screen (Android).
Step 3. Touch Groups (“Groups”)
This option is in the middle of the menu.
Step 4. Touch the Groups tab (“Groups”)
It's in the top-left corner of the screen.
Step 5. Select a group
Touch the group you want to send a question to.
You must be a member of the group in question
Step 6. Touch
It's on the right side of the post box, below the row of options below the cover photo. After that, the menu will be displayed.
Step 7. Touch Create a Poll (“Poll”)
This option is in the menu. After that, a poll window will open.
Step 8. Enter the poll questions
Tap the text box at the top of the screen (usually it says "Ask something… " or "Ask something…"), then type in the question you want.
Step 9. Enter the answer/voting option
Touch the button “ + Add a poll option… ” (“Add option…”) below the question box, type in an answer/option, and tap the “ Done ” (“Done”) to enter an answer. You can follow these steps to create as many answers/options as you want.
You can also tap the gear icon to the right of an option to determine who can add options, and whether group members can select multiple options
Step 10. Touch Post (“Send”)
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen. After that, the poll will be uploaded to the group page. Members can choose one (or several) answers to your questions.
