This wikiHow teaches you how to individually delete notifications through Facebook's notification menu (“Notifications”). You can do this through the Facebook app for iPhone and Android devices, as well as the Facebook website. Unfortunately, there's no followable way to delete more than one notification at the same time so you can't clear all Facebook notifications at once.
Step
Method 1 of 3: On iPhone
Step 1. Open Facebook
Tap the Facebook app icon, which looks like a white “f” on a blue background. If you are already logged in to your account, the news feed page will appear immediately.
If not, type in your email address (or phone number) and password, then tap the “ Login " ("Enter").
Step 2. Touch the notification icon ("Notifications")
This bell icon appears at the bottom of the screen. After that, a list of notification history will be displayed.
Step 3. Swipe notifications from right to left
Option Hide ” (“Hide”) in red will be displayed on the right side of the notification.
Step 4. Touch Hide

- You can repeat this process for each notification you want to clear/blank.
- You may not be able to follow this procedure on an iPad, depending on the version of Facebook you're using. In this case, try using the Facebook desktop site.
