Starting the day with delicious pancakes is so much fun. Whatever your favorite way of cooking, Bisquick makes it easy. Follow the simple steps below.
Ingredients
- 2 cups (240 grams) Original Bisquick®. flour
- 1 cup (240 milliliters) milk
- 2 eggs
Step

Step 1. Heat a skillet over medium heat
If you are using an electric skillet, heat it to 190°C. When a few drops of water sizzle and disappear, the pan is hot enough.

Step 2. Grease with oil or butter

Step 3. Whisk all ingredients together
Do not shake excessively. There should still be lumps in the dough. These clumps will make the dough rise, resulting in a softer pancake. Over-kneading the dough will result in thin pancakes.

Step 4. Pour about cup of batter onto the preheated pan
Cook until the edges are dry and bubbles appear on the top.

Step 5. Flip the pancakes and cook until they are golden

Step 6. Done
Serve with butter and syrup or whipped cream and fresh berries.
Tips
- Adding 350 ml (instead of 240 ml) of milk will result in thinner pancakes.
- Preheat the oven to 90°C and place the pancakes in the oven with a parchment-lined baking sheet. This will keep the pancakes warm if not served immediately.
- To create an interesting and fun recipe for kids, add a few drops of food coloring or pour a tablespoon of colorful meises into the batter.
- Don't flip the pancakes. Just come back once. Flipping the pancake over and over will make the surface a hard brown.
- If you want to freeze the pancakes and eat them at a later time, wrap them in foil or put them in a freezer bag once the pancakes have cooled. Pancakes can last up to a month. To heat up, place the pancakes on a baking sheet, cover with foil, and preheat at 180°C for 10 minutes.
- Don't over-beat the pancake batter as this will make it pliable and dry after cooking.
