Not many businesses can be opened for free, but this does not apply to opening a marketing business. If you have the right skills and are willing to work hard, opening a marketing business will cost you little or may be completely free.
Step
Step 1. Set up the basic administrative functions of your business
You will need a bank account, business address, service rate card, and business name. Opening a marketing business for free means that initially you will need to use your home address, personal bank account and own name for payment purposes.
Step 2. Determine the uniqueness of your business
What are you selling and to whom? Start by using the skills you already have, such as writing, web design and graphic arts. Look for a familiar industry.
Step 3. Create a marketing plan
Take advantage of free marketing plan templates (examples) on the internet, or simply use a calendar to write down your goals. Include the 4Ps in your business marketing plan: Product (product), Price (price), Promotion (promotion), and Placement (placement).
Step 4. List your target market
Get in touch with friends, local groups, and where you do business. If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, start with a motorcycle lover's group, motorcycle shop, or related business. If you have a doctor, lawyer, or entrepreneur in the family, ask for the opportunity to market their next web project, brochure, or event.
Step 5. Advertise your marketing business on the internet
Look for websites that offer free trials or services to help you get started. Ultimately, you need a website with your own domain name. However, you can start from free sites that provide great business templates.
Step 6. Link all personal social media such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to your new blog, website or other online information
Ask friends to “share” or pass on the news about your new marketing business. Your business must let clients know that you know how to use the latest resources effectively.
Step 7. Market your business continuously
Every email sent should have your marketing business information in the form of a web address, slogan, or something like that at the bottom. The holidays are an opportunity to share greetings from your Facebook page. Get-togethers also provide an opportunity to mention your new business.
Step 8. Get referrals
Once you have a client or customer, ask him or her to share about your business with others. Offer a discount if they bring in a new client on their next project.
