Whether it's the first day of school or the middle of the school year, looking good at school can make you feel more confident and cheerful. Do not worry. This doesn't mean you have to use a variety of makeup to look good at school. You can go without makeup or use a little makeup to quickly create a natural look. Pick a cute haircut, then walk away proud and let your confidence shine!
Step
Method 1 of 4: Choosing a Natural Appearance
Step 1. Clean the face
This is especially important if you have acne-prone skin. Start with a mild cleanser and then scrub the skin gently. Rinse with warm water and then gently wipe your face with a microfiber cloth.
Clean your face 2 or 3 times a day, especially if you have an oily face. Cleansing your face removes excess oil and dead skin cells, leaving your skin feeling refreshed
Step 2. Use moisturizer as well as sunscreen
Use a moisturizing lotion right after cleansing your face. Avoid using moisturizers that contain oil if your skin is oily. The lotion will help lock in the moisture in your skin, so it won't look dry.
Always use a sunscreen with an SPF of around 30. You can also find moisturizers that contain sunscreen. This moisturizer can prevent sun damage and can prevent dry skin
Step 3. Use lipstick or lip balm
Even if you try to keep your appearance natural, you need to keep your lips from drying out. Consider using a transparent lipstick or lip gloss. Even though the lipstick you use may not contain pigment or color, it can make your lips look soft and healthy.
Step 4. Cover any existing scars
You may need to cover some pimples or scars on your face, although you don't need to cover your entire face with foundation or makeup. Use foundation or a concealer to buff out existing pimples or scars. Then, use your finger to gently rub it around the area.
Avoid using red concealer to cover red pimples or scars, as they will be difficult to hide. Instead, look for a foundation with a yellow or green base to neutralize any red issues in the area
Method 2 of 4: Using Makeup
Step 1. Simple makeup
If you choose to wear makeup at school, then you need to use a quick and natural look. Start with a clean face and then use a light foundation or moisturizer containing color around the face to even out the complexion.
Do not choose a foundation that is heavy and sticky because it can shrivel and crack after a day. Use a light foundation and powder with a light sprinkle
Step 2. Apply blush
Choose a pink or peach color, whichever works best for your skin, then rub it over your cheeks.
After a few tries, find a blush that matches your cheek color
Step 3. Focus on the eyes
Thicken eyebrows to highlight the natural eyebrow line. Then, use eye shadow with a neutral or natural tone. If you decide to use eye shadow, then choose a dark brown, navy blue or rose gold. Choose a color that matches your skin tone. Black eye shadow can give the impression of being too harsh at school. Complete your eye makeup with one coat of mascara.
Avoid using dark and metallic eye shadows because they are more suitable for use at night or on weekends
Step 4. Use a cute lipstick or lip gloss
If you want to keep your makeup simple and natural, then use a peach or pink lip gloss that can be easily reused throughout the day. You can also use a lipstick that contains a richer color, but don't go for a lipstick that's too dark. Save dark, metallic lipsticks for use at parties or on the weekends.
Method 3 of 4: Refreshing Appearance All Day
Step 1. Wipe the oil off the face
Even if you start the day with a clean and fresh face and have applied makeup, oil will still build up on your face. It makes the face slippery in the afternoon. To reduce oil on your face, keep some oil absorbent paper in your backpack or locker. Take a moment and then gently wipe your face with the paper to remove excess oil.
Most oil-absorbing papers are made to keep makeup intact
Step 2. Use a moisturizer or face freshener
If you choose not to use makeup, then you need to lighten up your face in the middle of the day. Spray a face freshener to moisturize your face or use a moisturizer to brighten your face.
Some facial fresheners contain antibacterial ingredients that can help get rid of acne
Step 3. Use multipurpose makeup
Some makeup products provide versatile makeup, so you can refresh your eye, lip and cheek color with one product.
Step 4. Sweep back your lipstick or lip gloss
Lip gloss or lipstick is often the first thing to wear off, so reapply it throughout the day. If you don't have much time, then carry a small mirror in your backpack and reapply your lipstick and lip gloss when you walk to your next class.
Step 5. Avoid using mascara again
Think again before adding mascara. The mascara will look sticky and not shiny. Add a coat of clear mascara which will give the previous mascara a glossy finish, without adding weight to your lashes.
You can also add a little eye pencil of any color to give tired eyes a little energy
Method 4 of 4: Choosing a Hairstyle
Step 1. Make the hair look messy
If you don't have much time in the morning, stick to the hairstyle when you wake up. Wet your fingers with water and then run it through wavy hair. After that, you can stop so that your hair is loose or you can twist it into a messy bun.
If you have hair that is shoulder length or shorter than that, then let your hair down. Hair buns only if your hair is long enough that you can wrap it quickly without the need to attach a hair clip
Step 2. Pull your hair into a bun to the top of your head
This style is best suited if you have a lot of hair volume. Blow dry your hair to add volume, then comb it to the top of your head. Tie the hair into a ponytail at the top of the head. Pull the ends of the hair and wrap it around the rubber that binds the ponytail. Attach the hair clip to the tie.
You can also braid the ponytail before you wrap it around for a neater look
Step 3. Braid your hair
You have many options for braiding hair. Make a braid that goes straight behind your head, or a braid that crosses the side of your neck so that it falls over one shoulder. If you have enough time or have straight hair, then make a neat braid to create a chic appearance. You can also make the braid lumpy and loose, with tendrils sticking out of the braid.
Step 4. Tie your hair into a ponytail
If you don't have much time, tie your hair into a loose, messy ponytail. If you have enough time, then make a stylish and neat ponytail tie. Tie at the top of the head so that it falls to the nape of the neck or to the side.
