Method 1 of 3: Vanilla Cupcakes
Step 1. Measure out the required ingredients
So that no ingredients are missed, make sure you have prepared all the ingredients before starting to cook.
Step 2. Prepare the oven, set at 190°C
Step 3. Place 12 paper cups in your cupcake tin
If you don't have paper cups, simply grease the pan with vegetable oil or butter to prevent the dough from sticking to the pan.
Step 4. In a bowl, mix flour, salt and baking powder
Stir well.
Step 5. Add the sugar and butter to the dry ingredients mixture
Stir until all ingredients are well mixed.
Step 6. Add eggs, milk and vanilla extract
Mix all the ingredients until a dough that doesn't clump together form.
Step 7. Enter the filling according to taste into the cupcake batter
Step 8. Pour the batter evenly into the pan
Fill only 2/3 part because the cupcake will expand when cooked.
Step 9. Bake the cupcake batter
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes. One of the easiest ways to tell when a cupcake is done is by sticking a toothpick into the batter that is being baked. If there is no dough sticking to the toothpick, it means the cupcakes are perfectly cooked.
Step 10. Cool the cupcakes before decorating them with frosting
Arrange the cupcakes on a wire rack, let stand a few moments until the steam is gone.

Tips
- Be careful when cracking eggs. Don't let the egg shells get into the dough.
- To determine the level of doneness of a cupcake, press the surface of the cupcake just after removing it from the oven. If the texture is thick, it means the cupcakes are perfectly cooked. If not, put it back in the oven and bake for a few more minutes.
- Use your creativity when decorating cupcakes! Don't be afraid to add icing, chocolate, chopped fresh fruit, marshmallows, meises, or any of your favorite ingredients.
