Step
Method 1 of 3: Make Basic No-Bake Cookies
Step 1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
You won't be baking these cookies, but you'll still need a place to put them. Also, cover the rim of the cupcake mold with cupcake liner paper. Each edge of the cupcake can prevent dripping dry biscuit dough from falling.
You can place the baking sheet in the refrigerator while you are making the dough. This will cool the dough, and make the biscuits dry faster
Step 2. Add sugar, butter, milk and cocoa powder to a saucepan
Mix the ingredients with a spoon or spatula. Cut the butter into small squares before adding it to the pan to make it melt faster.
- If you are allergic to milk, try using almond milk, coconut milk, soy milk, or lactose-free milk.
- Add teaspoon of salt to reduce the sweetness. The salt also helps the other ingredients to bring out their flavors. Add salt to the pan before the butter begins to melt, then mix well.
Step 3. Turn on the stove and set it to medium-high heat
Keep stirring the dry biscuit mixture so it doesn't burn. Wait until the butter melts. This takes approximately three minutes.
Step 4. When it starts to boil, remove the pot from the stove and add the oats
Make sure you use instant oats. Stir the oats into the mixture using a spoon or spatula. Keep stirring until the oats are evenly coated.
Step 5. Use a spoon to place the dough onto the parchment paper
Spoon the dough using a tablespoon, then place it on the parchment paper. The dough will be like a thick circle. If you want, you can flatten the circle by pressing it with the back of a spoon.
Try making some dry biscuit balls. First, roll the dough into small balls, then put it in a bowl filled with grated coconut, mashed nuts, or cocoa powder
Step 6. Try adding toppings to your biscuits
You can also pour melted chocolate or caramel sauce over the cookies.
Step 7. Place the cookie sheet in the fridge and let it sit for at least 30 minutes
If you're in a hurry, put the dry biscuits in the freezer for 15 minutes.
Step 8. Serve the biscuits when they have hardened
If you serve it too quickly, the cookies may melt and crumble.
Method 2 of 3: Making Peanut Butter Cookies
Step 1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator while you make the dough. This will cool the pan so that the biscuits dry quickly.
Step 2. Mix sugar, milk, butter, cocoa powder and salt in a saucepan
Mix all the ingredients with a spoon or spatula. You can cut the butter into squares, so the butter will melt faster at a later stage.
- If you are allergic to milk, try using almond milk, coconut milk, soy milk, or lactose-free milk.
- If you don't like peanut butter, you can make hazelnut chocolate chip cookies. Start by reducing the cocoa powder to two tablespoons. You can later replace peanut butter with hazelnut chocolate.
Step 3. Turn on the stove and simmer the mixture for one minute
This will allow the sugar to completely melt. Later you will get a dough that looks runny.
Step 4. Add peanut butter, vanilla and oats
Reduce the stove temperature to medium heat and add the rest of the ingredients. Continue to stir until the oats are thoroughly combined.
Step 5. Remove the pan from the stove
After everything is mixed, remove the pan from the stove and place it on a table that has been given a base so that it is heat resistant.
Step 6. Use a spoon to pour the batter onto the parchment paper
You will get a solid lump. If you want, you can press down with the back of a spoon to flatten it out.
You can also make the dough into small balls, then place in a bowl with grated coconut, mashed nuts, or cocoa powder
Step 7. Try adding toppings to your biscuits
You can also pour melted chocolate or caramel sauce on the cookies to make them more delicious.
Step 8. Place the tray of dry biscuits in the refrigerator and let it sit for at least half an hour
You can also put the tray in the freezer for 15 minutes.
Step 9. Serve the biscuits when they are cool and firm
If you eat them quickly, the cookies will still be soft and fall out.
Method 3 of 3: Making Vegan, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free Cookies
Step 1. Melt the coconut oil in a saucepan on low heat
Coconut oil is sometimes solid, so you need to melt it first. If your coconut oil is already in liquid form, you can skip to the next step.
Step 2. Pour in the almond milk, brown sugar, and vanilla, then stir with a spoon or spatula
Set the stove to medium heat, and stir in the dry biscuit ingredients. You can also use palm sugar instead of brown sugar. If you don't like the taste of almond milk, try using soy milk, coconut milk, or lactose-free milk.
Step 3. Stir in the oat flour, almond flour, powdered sugar, and salt
You will get a thick and dense dough. If the dough is too soft, add oats or almond flour. If the dough is too dry, add coconut oil or milk. But remember, cookies will harden once you put them in the fridge, so don't add too much flour.
Step 4. Remove the pan from the stove and add the chocolate chips
You can use chocolate chips. Make sure you use the type of chocolate that is free from dairy or vegan ingredients. Stir the chocolate chips into the mixture until well blended.
Step 5. If you don't like sweetness, use vegan dark chocolate
This can reduce the sweet taste.
Step 6. Line the pan with parchment paper
If you don't have parchment paper, you can use parchment paper. Since the dough will be poured into this pan, it's a good idea to tape this paper to the pan. The goal is that the paper does not shift.
Step 7. Spoon the dough onto the parchment paper and press it down to the edges
Later you will get a dough measuring 18 x 20.5 centimeters and 1 centimeter thick. Smooth the edges using a spatula.
Step 8. Put the pan in the fridge and wait for the dough to harden
This process takes at least 30 minutes. If you want to enjoy these cookies quickly, place the pan in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
Step 9. Cut the dough into squares about 4 centimeters in size
Use a sharp knife to slice.
Tips
- If you don't have parchment paper, you can use parchment paper.
- If you are allergic to dairy products, try using almond milk, coconut milk, soy milk, or lactose-free milk. You can also use margarine that is not made from milk or margarine from coconut (coconut butter).
- If you are allergic to nuts, try using a different type of peanut butter, such as hazelnut or almond butter.
- Try using an ice cream scoop instead of a tablespoon. This makes it easier to scoop the batter into the pan.
- Use cereals instead of oats. If you don't like oats, you can use your favorite cereal. Try using granola, bran, or cereal from corn flakes.
- You can also use almonds or other nuts, or you can use barley.
