This wikiHow teaches you how to join a multiplayer server in Minecraft. You can easily add and connect computers to servers on both desktop and mobile versions of Minecraft. If you're using the Bedrock edition of Minecraft on an Xbox One, there are several options to choose from to connect the game to the server you want.

Method 1 of 4: Using Minecraft Java Edition on a Desktop Computer
Step 1. Find the server address
You will need to know the address of the Minecraft server you want to go to before proceeding to the next step.
You can find free Minecraft servers on sites like minecraftservers.org
Step 2. Open the Minecraft launcher
Click the Minecraft icon, which looks like a patch of grass.
Step 3. Sign in to your account when prompted
If you're not logged into your Minecraft account, type in your email address and password, then click “ LOG IN ”.
Step 4. Click PLAY
It's a green button at the bottom of the launcher window. After that, Minecraft will run.

While you can't join a server in the same way on a computer or mobile version of Minecraft, you can connect the game to popular pre-selected Minecraft servers.

Step 2. Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition

- You can't join a server without getting an invite to the Xbox One edition of Minecraft.
