This wikiHow teaches you how to travel directly to a specific place in the Minecraft game. You can do this on both the computer and mobile versions of Minecraft. Also, if you're using a console, you can teleport to a specific player's place when using host privileges for multiplayer games.
Step
Method 1 of 3: On Computer
Step 1. Run Minecraft
Double-click the Minecraft app icon, then click the button PLAY It's green at the bottom of the launcher.
Step 2. Select the world you want to load
choose Singleplayer, then click the creative world you want to load.
- You can also click Create New World which is at the bottom of the page if you want to start a new world.
- You have to enable cheats in the creative world.
Step 3. Click Play Selected World located at the bottom
The world you selected will be unlocked.
If you want to create a new world, you have to choose the mode Creative, then open the world by clicking Create New World again.
Step 4. Determine where you want to teleport
The game Minecraft uses 3 coordinates (i.e. X, Y, and Z) to determine the player's location in the world. Coordinate "X" is the position west or east of the spawning point (spawn). The "Z" coordinate is the position south or north of the spawning point, while the "Y" coordinate is the elevation of the location above the bedrock.
- The sea level is Y:63.
- Your current coordinates in the game can be viewed by pressing F3, Fn+F3 (for Macs and laptops), or Alt+Fn+F3 (for newer Macs).
Step 5. Open the console
You can do this by pressing the / key on the keyboard.
Step 6. Enter the teleport command
Type teleport the name x y z into the console. Change "name" to your username. Replace "x" with the west/east coordinates you want to go, "y" with the vertical coordinates, and "z" with the south/north coordinates.
-
For example, your command could look like this:
/teleport handsome boy 0 23 65
- Username is case sensitive (pay attention to the difference between upper and lower case)
- Entering a positive value in the "z" and "x" coordinates will increase the distance to the south or east (for each direction), while using a negative value will increase the distance to the north or west.
Step 7. Press Enter key
Your character will automatically be moved to the specified coordinates.

-
For example, if your character's name is "handsome boy", you would type
teleport handsome boy 23 45 12
- here.
- Entering a positive value in the "z" and "x" coordinates will increase the distance to the south or east (for each direction), while using a negative value will increase the distance to the north or west.
Step 13. Tap on “Enter“

Tips
- If you want to teleport to a specific player's location (not using coordinates), just type in the player's name, not by entering XYZ coordinates. Make sure the spelling and use of capital letters are entered correctly.
- In Survival mode, you can use the Ender Pearl to move players to certain blocks that are near you. The way to do this is to bring the Ender Pearl, then face the desired block, and use the Ender Pearl. Your health will decrease by 2.5 hearts every time you teleport.
