Step 5. Look at the percent sign next to each store
It shows how much refund you can get for each purchase.
Step 6. Go to account settings
Connect your account with a PayPal account to get paid quarterly by email. Choose to be paid by check to your home address if you don't use PayPal.
Method 2 of 3: Making a Purchase
Step 1. Click the Ebates store link each time before making a purchase
Even if you have already researched about the product you want beforehand, the best thing you should do is to open a new window, go to Ebates, then follow the link to the shopping cart and make the payment instead of using tabs. Purchases made will be deemed invalid to receive a refund if you do not use the Ebates link when making a purchase.
Step 2. Use the coupon code and free shipping code listed on Ebates
When you're done shopping and want to go out, enter both codes into the coupon field. After that, enter your credit card details, then make a purchase.
Step 3. Return to the Ebates website to view the purchases made through Ebates
You can receive a refund via Paypal transfer or quarterly check. A refund or refund will cause the money on the refund tab to decrease.
Step 4. Look for the Ebates Shopping Trip confirmation
After placing your order, you should receive a confirmation and an Ebates tracking number to let you know that the purchase made is eligible to receive a refund.
Most purchases are tracked and authorized within 48 hours
Step 5. Download the Ebates toolbar
Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer offer extensions that help select the sites available on Ebates. When the Ebates refund button notifies you of an offer with a refund, you can log in with your Ebates account and make a purchase via the link provided.
Method 3 of 3: Understanding the Limits and Bonuses on Using Ebates
Step 1. Understand that not all online stores are available within Ebates
At the moment Ebates only has about 1,500 stores, and the Ebates website says they are adding stores every week. Use the search bar to check that the store you are shopping at is not included in Ebates before leaving the site.
Step 2. Read the given restrictions
If you want to find out if there are any restrictions your favorite online store has put in place, take a look at the alphabetical order list at https://www.ebates.com/help/storeexceptions.htm. Some stores only apply purchases to certain departments or purchases by a certain amount.
Step 3. Return all the products you get and don't want, not exchange them
After you return the item, the shop will notify Ebates and deduct the money from your account. Exchange of goods is also processed in the same way, so you must return the goods, then make a new purchase process via the Ebates link to get a refund of the product purchased.
Step 4. Invite friends to get extra money into the account
You can earn an additional $5 for every friend you refer and make a purchase. Click the "Tell a friend" tab at the top of the page to do so.
Step 5. Have at least $5 per quarter in the account to receive a refund
Ebates will only send money via payPal or check if you meet the minimum amount of money in the account.
