Stretch marks are signs of a transition, but if you want to hide them, how do you get rid of them or at least make them fade? There is no definitive solution, but there are many things you can do. There are even natural ways!
Step
Part 1 of 2: Using Food
Step 1. Rub the egg white on your stomach
Does it look disgusting? Hopefully all of this is worth it. The protein contained in egg whites is recognized as very good for the skin and especially for stretching lines. Apply egg whites three times a day so that stretch marks are maximally fading. Alternatively, you can also use egg (oleova) oil.
Step 2. Get the benefits of potatoes
If you've stopped eating carbs, then there's a new reason to add potatoes to your grocery list. Potato juice is very rich in vitamins and minerals that help restore skin cells. So when you're preparing a rosemary potato dish for the family, steal a potato and rub it against your stretch marks. Hope you don't get caught off guard so you don't have to explain about it.
How to do that is; Cut the potatoes into thick slices. Rub the potato wedges against your stretch lines, making sure the slices release their juices. Let it dry and then wash off the remaining juice with warm water
Step 3. Use olive oil
Olive oil is rich in vitamin E, which is very good for your skin. If you want to save it for tonight's stir fry, you can also use pure vitamin E oil – even vitamin E oil topped with lavender, jasmine, and rosemary if you like. As long as the oil has a high vitamin E content, you can use it.
- The expected result is that your skin will become soft, and when the skin becomes soft, the skin will widen, and usually stretch marks will disappear more easily. Plus, there's less chance of stretch marks forming on your skin!
- Castor oil is said to be just as effective as other home remedies.
Step 4. Use sugar
You've read the wikiHow article How to Make a Sugar Scrub, haven't you? A little sugar, oil and lemon juice are great exfoliants for shaving and one more thing, do you know what they are? Yes, stretch lines too. Plus, your body will smell good too!
White sugar is the best ingredient and almond oil is great too. When you rub it in, let it sit for a minute -- or ten -- to enjoy the benefits of the sugar. Think of it as an excuse to take a long shower
Part 2 of 2: Using Lotion and Juice
Step 1. For new stretch marks, use tretinoin cream
This cream works wonders on the collagen re-forming ability in your body when the stretch marks are still forming. The only caveat? Do not use this cream if you are pregnant. There is a possible harmful effect on the fetus -- this has not yet been confirmed.
Step 2. Beware of creams or lotions marketed as miracle stretch marks
That is absolutely not true. While some people may get great results, with just regular use, the fact is that skin is hydrated and actually depends on luck and genetics. Therefore, think again before draining your wallet.
If the cream or lotion contains retin-A or glycolic acid, you may need to consult a doctor. The product can be dangerous; it would be better if checked with your doctor before using any product that is sold freely in the market. Of course you don't want to experience skin allergies or skin discoloration
Step 3. Use lemon juice
Surely you've heard that lemon juice can reduce skin spots, and the same principle applies to stretch marks: lemon juice is a natural bleaching agent. For this reason, lemon juice can help fade stretch marks faster. Apply lemon juice to the stretch marks and let it dry for 10 minutes before rinsing. Make sure you do it several times a day for maximum effect.
Step 4. Use cocoa butter or shea butter (a body lotion that has a buttery texture)
Both of these products deeply hydrate the skin and can promote skin regeneration and smoothness. If used several times a day, the stretch marks will fade. In addition, this product can prevent the formation of new stretch marks!
In fact, any lotion is good for the skin and stretch marks. The more hydrated your skin is, the better the condition and appearance of your skin
Step 5. Use aloe vera
You already know that this ingredient is great for sunburned skin and your skin in general, but it's also great for stretch marks. This ingredient is a natural super healer -- for results, use it every day. This ingredient is also very safe to use during and after pregnancy!
- You can also make a mixture of aloe vera gel, vitamin E and vitamin A oil (from the capsule) and rub it on the stretch marks until it is absorbed into the skin.
- Raw aloe vera will leave a residue. After a few minutes, just wash it off with warm water.
Tips
- Don't stretch after eating
- The stretch marks will naturally fade over time. Be patient.
- Do it diligently. This natural treatment has little success if you use it several times a day.
- Love your body! Line stretches are no big deal, because of course, you have a complete limb!
- Another potential treatment, though harder to find, is alfalfa powder. You can mix a little of this powder with some essential oil to hydrate your skin.
