Orgami art is very interesting and can be an interesting gift. Although the manufacturing process takes time and patience, the end result is very satisfying and looks very attractive.
Step
Step 1. Start with a sheet of A4 paper (normal-sized printing paper)
You can use colored paper depending on the shape you are going to make.
Step 2. Start with the shorter side of the paper at the bottom, folding it in half
Step 3. Fold in half again
Step 4. Fold in half again one last time
Step 5. Unfold and twist so that the longer side is down
Step 6. Fold in half
Step 7. Fold in half again
Step 8. Unfold and cut the folded lines to get 32 square shapes
Step 9. Take one of the squares and fold it so that the longer part is on the bottom
Step 10. Fold in half from the bottom to the top
Step 11. Fold again from left to right but don't press the crease too hard
Step 12. Fold the right side of the paper to the crease line in the middle then do the same on the left
Currently the shape of the fold looks like an upside down house.
Step 13. Flip the fold
Fold the outside.
Step 14. Fold the top 2 down
Currently the fold is triangular.
Step 15. Fold it in half, and now you're done
Step 16. Once you've made lots of triangles, arrange them when needed
Step 17. Done
Tips
- If you have a cutter/ razor, use it! The razor will make the cutting process faster.
- Arrange the triangles and paste them one by one.
- For more help, watch tutorials on YouTube.
- Be patient. The folding process is the longest process in making 3D Origami.
- Keep the triangles in a box so they don't get lost.
- Don't fold too hard. The triangle will look better if it is folded slowly.
- Allow the parts to stick for a few hours to make the holes larger so they are easier to shape.
Warning
- Be careful when using scissors and razors.
- Be careful with the paper, don't tear it.
