Skype provides a conference calling feature, which allows you to call 3 or more people at the same time. This feature is very useful for contacting friends and family who are in different places, or checking someone's whereabouts. You can make and receive conference calls via PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android.

Method 1 of 3: Using a PC or Mac
Step 1. Make sure your computer is connected to the internet
We recommend that you use a high-speed internet connection. Conference calls will be very heavy on the internet connection.
If your internet connection is slow and you can access your router, connect your computer directly to your router with an Ethernet cable for a more stable internet connection
Step 2. Open Skype
Step 3. Sign in to Skype with your username and password
Step 4. Click a conversation or contact to open the conversation window
You can add other contacts to the conversation from this window.
Use the "+" button on the toolbar above Contacts and Recents to create a new group
Step 5. Click the person icon with a "+" sign next to it
It's in the upper-right corner of the conversation window. A menu for adding people to the group will appear.
Step 6. Click a contact in the list to add that contact to the group
You can also search for the person you want to add to the group by entering their name.
If you're in a conversation with someone, adding that person to a large group will "pull" other contacts in that conversation into the group as well
Step 7. Add any other contacts you want
Skype supports voice calls with 25 contacts (including you) at the same time.
Only 10 people can appear simultaneously on a video call
Step 8. Click the Call or Video Call button to start the conference call
Skype will call all members of the group.
Step 9. To end the call, click the red telephone button
Congratulations, you've finished making a conference call on Skype!
Method 2 of 3: Using iPhone or iPad
Step 1. Open Skype
If you don't have Skype installed on your device, download the app for free from the Apple Store
Step 2. Sign in to Skype with your username and password
Use the same username and password as the computer version of Skype.
Step 3. Press the "+" button on the top right corner of the screen to create a group call
Step 4. Tap the contact name from the list to add it to the group
Contacts will be added automatically.
- You can have a conference call with 25 contacts (including yourself) at the same time. However, only 6 people can appear in the video.
- You can also add people to the call by tapping the group name at the top of the screen, then selecting Add Participant in the menu. After that, select the contact you want to add to the group.
Step 5. Tap the Call button at the top right corner of the screen to initiate a call
To make a video call, tap the video camera icon
Step 6. To end the call, click the red telephone button

Method 3 of 3: Using Android
Step 1. Open Skype
If you don't have Skype installed on your device, download the app for free on the Google Play Store
Step 2. Sign in to Skype with your username and password
Use the same username and password as the computer version of Skype.
Step 3. Press the "+" button in the lower right corner of the screen to display the call menu
Step 4. Select Voice Call
The contact page will appear. You can select the contacts you want to add to the call from this list.
Step 5. Enter the contact name, then make a call to start a group call
Step 6. Tap the Call button at the top right corner of the screen to start a voice call, or tap the video camera button to start a video call
Step 7. Once the call starts, tap on the Add button to add another contact in the group
Enter the name of the contact you want to add to the group, then tap the appropriate contact.
You can have a conference call with 25 contacts (including yourself) at the same time
Step 8. To end the call, click on the red telephone button
