MAC (Media Access Control) address is a number that identifies the network adapter installed on the computer. A MAC address consists of six pairs of characters (the numbers 0 to 9 and the letters A to F), separated by a colon or dash. You may need to enter a MAC address into the router in order to connect to the network. To find your MAC address on a network-connected system, use one of the following methods.
Step
Method 1 of 12: Using Windows 10
Step 1. Connect to the network
This method can only be used if you are connected to a network. Make sure to connect the computer with the interface for which you need a MAC address (Wi-Fi if you need a wireless MAC card address, or ethernet if you need a wired MAC card address).
